Adams County Sheriff Deputy Charles Harrigill surveys the scene of an accident early Sunday morning on Lower Woodville Road near the intersection of White Apple Road. At approximately 11:30 p.m. Saturday, a truck traveling south on Lower Woodville struck a large oak tree that had fallen across the roadway, lodging itself beneath the tree. One of the truck's occupants was trapped in the wreckage until rescuers managed to lift the tree from the truck.
