Chemical Spill

Sulfur dioxide spills out of the Riverside Central warehouse near the Adams County port Monday morning. The gas resulted in the decomposition of a pallet of fermamidine sulfinic acid stored in the warehouse. Businesses and houses within a half-mile downwind from the warehouse were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
