The Father Peters Council No. 9 of the Knights of Peter Claver Inc. got into the Christmas spirit of giving this year by assisting a family in town. The council provided a shopping spree for the children of Vera Wilkins. Wilkins is the single mother of four children, ages 3 to 10.
