Cathedral High School’s AP English Literature class recently attended the Shakespeare Festival at Tulane University in New Orleans and viewed the stage production of “The Taming of the Shrew,” performed by members of the Actors’ Equity Association and Union of Professional Actors, joined by an undergraduate and a graduate Tulane theatre student. Following the production, which incorporated authentic Shakespearean text set in 1950s Italian New Orleans, students participated in an at-large Q&A session with the actors, followed by a one-on-one session with actors and Director Ron Gural.
