The Rho Epsilon Lambda Foundation of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is proud to acknowledge the 2007 recipients of the Dr. James R. Todd Scholarship. Since its inception in 2005, the foundation has issued 12 scholarships to deserving high school seniors upon their graduation to attend college. These students are among the best and the brightest of the Miss-Lou and represent Adams, Jefferson and Wilkinson counties as well as Concordia Parish. On Saturday, the foundation will host the bi-annual James R. Todd Scholarship Banquet at the Natchez Convention Center. The funds generated from this black-tie affair are utilized in support of the scholarship fund. The foundation has committed itself to distribute $4,000 annually to deserving applicants from our community. Tickets are $50 per person and can be obtained from committee members Fred Marsalis, Darrell White, Michael Winn or any member of Alpha Phi Alpha.
