They were prettier this year but, ever year they get shorter and shorter, not worth the fight to get a parking place.

Very good. It helped that the 4th also fell on the First Friday so downtown stores were open for folks before the fireworks. And the following evening we watched the street movie on Commerce.

I would have enjoyed more patriotic themes, music, etc. during the fireworks. But overall it was good.

Very good show. Who pays for it? Is is a group or just the city?

They are usually sponsored by Isle of Capri, and this year United Ms. Bank, 95 Country radio, and the new hotel I believe were also sponsors. I don't think it was any shorter, but I guess the prices went up on fireworks too! But they were good, and lots more people than I ever remember seeing.
