My father, husband, son, brother, nephew, and three brothers-in-law.

My hat is off, my hand over my heart, saluting them and all the others who have fought and are fighting to maintain the freedom of our great country. Make we remain free in the light of the overwhelming number of Americans who no longer have a clue.

my husband (US Army) and my brother-in-law (US Army)
Thank you to all who served seems so small, but do know we love you all! Now for Senator John McCain who served our country so well, a big thank you. Will never understand why he was beaten in Vietnam and then at the US voting precints. Those who voted against this tremendous hero should hang heads in shame. God bless this wonderful country that needs protecting now more thank ever!

My family has been blessed with many veterans. It would be hard to list them all but I will pray for them today.

Yesterday I spent the better part of the day writing notes in greeting cards that will be sent to the hospitilized veterans. It is so little that I can do but I pray they will reach the hands of someone who might not get a greeting card otherwise and I hope it will brighten his/her day.

My special wish this season is that I can encourage more people to join me in this small task that may cost you only your time and effort. There are so many that you could bring joy to their hearts if just for a moment in time.

If interested, contact me and I will give you the details on how to go about it. Remember it will not cost you that much to do this. Your day will be made brighter also.

My son was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. He did a tour in Afghanistan right after 9-11 and a tour in Iraq 3 months after returning from Afghanistan. Thank You to all Veterans. God Bless You.
