Where is it at? I was there twice this weekend.. Guess I didn't really look for it because I didn't know about it. Sobeit, I can't imagine why you wouldn't go to Duncan Park unless you don't have kids. I have seen nothing wrong with it at all. Friday evening there were kids everywhere running around having a great time, getting along and playing with each other. Its good summertime social interaction for kids. :)

I also was there as a youth and had loads of fun. The new Pavilion is just beyond the ball field on the left as you head to the end of the road. It is really nice to have and it has been needed for a very long time. Thanks also to Leadership class for the tables. My last drive through the tables were not there yet but I am hoping people will use and respect and not damage or leave trash behind. We used the one up by Auburn in the playground area as did most growing up - party after party was there. I still go and sit under the trees and eat occasionally. I am not afraid to go there at all and everyone seems to enjoy it. I see people using the walking trails, the golfers, tennis players, and, of course, the children playing ball. Thanks to all who keep it available to everyone. This is one place we can all be proud of.

I love Duncan park!! I loved it when I was little and now I like to take my kids there. The only thing that could be improved upon is the trash. I did find some glass in the gravel at the littlt playground in the very back. We just went back to the first one. Maybe they should do a community volunteer day to clean up some more.

I wish it were easier to drive thru
but I love Duncan Park and appreciate what Mr. Tedder has been trying to do with it all these years

I was at Duncan Park Friday afternoon with my grandkids at the playground and it was wonderful. Another child asked my grandson if they could be friends while playing on the jungle gym. It was such a sweet and touching moment. The boys are ages three and four and had never seen each other before that day. Three other children took time to play with my grand daughter who is only fourteen months old. A whole family let my grandson play baseball with them for a few rounds. It was truly a wonderful experience. I think every parent and grandparent should take the time to go to Duncan Park and let their kids play and interact with other kids. I also KNOW we need to open a public pool and start teaching swimming lessons again to all of the children and adults who wish to learn.

I spent many Saturdays at the Duncan Park swimming pool in the 50's and early 60's. My daughter always loved going to the Canteen in the 70's. It was good surpervised fun. I think almost everyone that lives in our area at one time has gone to Duncan Park.
