Nicklous Robert Kirby, Ferriday

FERRIDAY — Services for Nicklous Robert Kirby, 19, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, in Natchez, will be 10 a.m. Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Nicklous was born May 28, 1988, in Pineville, the son of James “Buddy” Kirby of Harrisonburg and Pettie Kirby of Vidalia.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jean Denny.
Survivors include his parents; brothers and sisters, Bud, Taylor, Maggie, Samuel and Elizabeth Kirby; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Barbara Kirby; and maternal grandparent, Alvin Denny.
Pallbearers will be Hank Cockerham, Kenneth Wilson, Mitchell Allen Kenny, Bubba White, Jarrett Chris and Tommy Kennon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Walker, Trey McEntyre, Garrett Lee, Caleb Goodwin, B. J. Egloff, Phootey Juneau and Daniel Martin.

Nicky was my cousin. I haven't seen him in a while, because I currently live in Japan. I talked to him about 2 months ago and we were saying how we would see each other soon. He was a great guy and I will miss him terribly. I love you Nick and I know you are watching over us now.

Nicky was my cousin. Although we were cousins he was more like a nephew to me--I grew up with his Father-I also have kids Nicky's age--He was always so full of life and so excited about everything that he did and participated in with friends or family--We will always miss our Nicky--a ray of sunshine to our family--always Cathy

I didn't know Nicklous, but i am truly sorry about this loss. It is just so sad to read about these 3 kids losing there life at such a young age. I will keep you all in my prayers. And again, I am truly sorry about this loss.

To Pettie and the rest of your family, I am so sorry for your loss.My GOD Bless and be with you in time of mourning. Know that you were a wonderful light in Nick's life and he loved you all very much. My daughter, Tiffany was a friend and we will all miss him. I wish there were some words of wisdom that any of us could share with you to ease your pain, I am so sorry that I can only say GOD BLESS YOU and EASE YOUR PAIN. Know that you were well LOVED and now Nick will be your GAURDIAN ANGEL and will always be there with you. If there is anything I can do, be a shoulder to lean on just an ear to listin I will be there. May GOD BLESS and KEEP YOU. You and yours will be in my prayers and thoughts. Again my deepest sympathies. I will pray for you often. Never forget what a wonderful well mannered thoughtful son you raised and be proud as I know you are.

I didn't know Nicklous but I know his Mama and she always was telling me something about him. Pettie my thoughts and prayers are with you and you family.

I grew up with you baby boy I could talk to you about ANYTHING NO MATTER WHAT you were there for me and I am going to miss you! I am truly sorry for the families! I LOVE YOU MY NIGGA! RIP BABY BOY!
