Frances Lambert Ainsworth, Natchez
1933 - 2008
NATCHEZ - Services for Frances Lambert Ainsworth, 75, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Hall and the Rev. Pat Anders officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ainsworth was born March 11, 1933, in Lawrence County, the daughter of Lemmie H. Lambert and Beatrice Kyzar Lambert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Havie Ainsworth; one son, Owen Paul Ainsworth Sr.; three sisters, Carolyn Thornhill, Pearl Johnson and Damie Lou Hester; and one brother, Paul Denver Lambert.
Survivors include her seven children, Carolyn Lambert and husband, Ralph, Havie Lynn Ainsworth, Harry Joe Ainsworth and wife, Peggy , Donald Wayne Ainsworth and wife, Annette, all of Natchez, James Ainsworth and wife, Tammie, both of Vicksburg, Rayford Ainsworth and wife, Gaynell, both of Duson, La., and Owen Ainsworth Jr. and wife, Karen, both of Crystal Springs; five sisters, Joan Gilmore of Jackson, Grace Roberts, Amy Kay Caraway, both of Natchez, Fannie Mae Caraway of Kennett, Mo., and Denise Farmer of Tunica; one brother, Joseph Jasper Lambert of Camp Spring, Md.; 12 grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Owen P. Ainsworth Jr., Ray Ainsworth, Joey Ainsworth, J.J. Ainsworth, Jerry W. Fairchild, Dennis Franz, Bud Bourgeois and Shawn LeCouq.
The family wishes to thank Hospice Ministries.

To my dear cousins and their families. I do have each and everyone of you and Aunt Frans sisters and Jasper in my prayers. I am sorry that I did not know the dates and times of the services. I received the information to late. Just know that Aunt is not suffering and that she is in greater hands. Once again, each of you are in my prayers.

Donald and Joe, we are so sorry about the loss of your mother. I know she has been suffering these past few months, but she is in a better place now and you will see her again. If yall need anything call us. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
