Thank you NPD. I do not have much faith in the justice system, though. He will more than likely be out soon through the court's revolving door, just in time to find more victims. I can only imagine how frustrating such court actions are to our law enforcement personnel. It's a wonder they all don't suffer from stomach ulcers or anxiety thanks to our Judges and D.A.

You know just the other night a friend of mine and I were joking around about if you wanna commit murder do it in Natchez and if you wanna sell drugs do it in Vidalia.. Its not like you'd get in trouble anyway. But the sad thing is that this is true. It seems as though we don't have any elected officials who are standing up for us when they should be. And the only time you see them try is when it gets close to election time. Just once I'd like to see someone keep those promises they make to get elected. I don't have all the answers to all of this but you know we can come up with some good stuff on here when we put our heads together. Now if only we could get someone to listen to us... then maybe something can be done to stop all the crime around here! (Sorry to snap at you transfuscha!)

well folks, one thing we can do is to make our own list of things that we can refer back to when election times comes again. Most judges are elected and others in the law enforcement field. We tend to have short memories (I do anyway). Let's elect these people out of office and if we do it enough times, maybe some of them will get the message that we want criminals off the streets.

Glad they picked the guy up and now let's see who does what?

I heard you loud and clear, firered. I understand your anger. It makes me sick to see people who commit crimes walk as soon as someone makes their bail or the judges get sick of them sitting in jail and decide to "clean house". They could house these offenders, but don't want them crowding up the jail, laying around with all expenses paid. I can understand that point, too, but dang...what do ya do at this point? They guy who got arrested is probably already walking the streets with a Cheshire cat grin on his face.

OK so what about this new prison being built out here in the county? Are they waiting for it to be built to start putting people in jail? That's so what it seems like everytime I look at the records section. Why is it so hard for people who run jails/prisons to realize that the less enticing they make time behind bars the less the rate will be for people to return. Make them work their butts off daily and not just washing cars at the sheriff's office and cutting grass and picking up trash. I'm talking hard core labor that isn't all that appealing to the rest of us. HMMM... didn't some one mention shoveling cow maneur one time? I know where some cows are! :)

It's a funny thing (sad, really) that I have heard "political figures" mention that they don't even bother to read the paper because of all the "untruths" printed in it. So you can count on them not reading these forums either. I guess they are afraid to get their little pea gravel brains burised with all the truth going on here. And I guess the judges and D.A. don't bother either because they are above the law and do what ever in the (explitive) they want to and laugh all the way to the bank to deposit our tax money into their account...more than likely automatic deposit cause they are too lazy to exercise anything but their right to open their fat wallets to take a look at their favorite color...GREEN. I would hate to be a cop here because I can not imagine the frustrations they experiene all the time when they make an arrest just to see the punks back out on the streets...laughing at them and continuing to commit crimes. I am trying to be fair eagles!!! The problem is that astrid has put all the blame on her being threatened HERE,,,,, on members of TCU!!! And that is the farthest from the truth!!!

That person that threatened astrid IS NOT a member of TCU and I will NOT stand by while she bashes the TCU Forum any longer!!! Thats Not fair for her to do that when she KNOWS that it WAS NOT a member of TCU!!! And was in fact just some "Nutcase" that happened along here on the Democrat forum!!!

Astrid joined TCU and posted there right along with everyone else and then she would come here and tell all of you other members HERE what a bunch of no goods the members of TCU are!!! That tends to piss me off a little,,,,especially since we are only there to expose the corruption that IS happening in our communities!!!

I have read every single one of her nasty comments about TCU and I'm tired of her lying to everyone about something she "SAYS" happened,,,That REALLY DIDN'T happen!!!

No-one from TCU has EVER been nasty or disrespectful to astrid!!! And for her to say we have is just plain wrong,,,,I know that she has been posting here for awhile,,,But she should only post the TRUTH and not come here and make up LIES about a very nice Forum like TCU is!!!

It pisses me off to no end that people are like a bunch of Lemmings and just follow along with someone,,,,Instead of finding out the truth themselves!!!

TCU is a great site!!! Check it out yourselves before you all pass judgement on us!!! You all might just learn something that opens your eyes while you're there!!!

I'm not taking sides here. I'm just trying to understand this. I said earlier that she has never been rude to me. I don't know her personally and can't comment about what kind of person she is. I can only comment about the things I've seen her post here and I don't remember her bashing TCU until recently (since the threats). I don't know if that person who threatened her is a member of TCU or not. I'm not quite sure how anyone else would know either (for a fact). I'm sure anyone could register on either site and give different names and e-mail addresses. We are on here just posting our opinions about the happenings in our area. Most of us are not looking for corruption, crime and trouble - we are just stating our opinions about it. I have never bashed the TCU. I know nothing about it, but I hope people there are friendly and open minded. That's what we should all be.

I have been to TCU and I like the forums. I even posted some not so good things and I was not kicked off or treated mean. I was told to go read the rules and try to keep my act clean. I made another bad post and again, i was not kicked off or treated like dirt. The mod cleaned up my post and said to be nice. So, i don't see how they could treat me one way and astrid so different. I believe astrid is even a clan member, which is higher up and a special privilege. (sp) So be careful people, when taking sides with someone and not knowing the whole story.

Choctaw, there is no way I think that every rude person on here is from TCU. But, I still can't see how you know for sure that america isn't also on your site. It's ok if they are, it's a free country. But they did attack some here for no reason. It was totally uncalled for. I think the whole purpose for this comment section is for people to voice their opinions and concerns. It's not necessary to even discuss other sites on here and vice-versa. I respect what you are saying. I wouldn't want someone to bash something I support or believe in either. But, I know that everyone isn't always going to agree with me (unfortunately - lol!). It is truly sad to me to see one of the most fair upstanding members of our society have to explain that The Concordia Underground is anything other than what it is. A place staffed and members that cover all areas of our lives. Teachers, Dr, Lawyers, nurses, law emforcement. Who want nothing more than to see our comunity be a safe place to raise our families and get the corruption and drugs off our streets. Well since everyone is off topic I'll go ahead with defending astrid... I do know that a member of tcu was threatening her. What you all are failing to mention is that not just america39120 threatened her (by the way i was the other party in that horrible incident) but there were I do believe 2 others who (and i know this for a FACT) have the same name as someone on the tcu.. Now I'm not saying tcu is a bad place no one has ever been mean to me there but I think that maybe some of the members should be more open minded to others opinions before they just go off the handle. any way.. I for one am not all that concerned about the threats and all... its all empty threats made to a computer screen lol so its just amusing. I had a big breakfast, so will pass on lunch... and fyi if you havent tried the new skillet burrito from McDonalds, I liked it... it was good and filling. I don't know anyone that works there, and I am not promoting it, but it was yummy. eagles- they have a chicken snack wrap that is good, to me anyway.... I usually get 2 BBQ ones. They have ranch and honeymustard ones also... it hits the spot...
