NATCHEZ — Johnny Rodriguez is a mad, mad man.
On Wednesday morning his boxer, Duke, was mauled to death by his neighbor’s pack of pit-bulls.
After killing Duke, the same dogs then tried to attack construction workers at the home across the street from Rodriguez’s residence on Marquette Street.

Surprisingly, Rodriguez said, a very similar incident happened approximately three weeks ago.
Rodriguez said a few weeks ago he heard barking outside; when he investigated he saw the same dogs attacking his other boxer Angel.
Rodriguez said Duke defended Angle and was then attacked.
For the next 25 minutes Rodriguez fought with the dogs in an effort to release their grip from Duke’s throat.
Rodriguez said it took several minutes of beating and choking the attacking dogs before they released Duke.
Rodriguez was also bitten in the fight.
After filing charges Rodriguez said he felt confident the matter would have been rectified and the dogs killed.
“This should not have happened,” he said.
In fact after he filed charges against the dogs owner, Harold Brunston, he also spoke with the Judge Jim Blough who would have signed Brunston’s arrest warrant.
On Wednesday afternoon Blough said he did not know why the warrant went unsigned for so long.
Blough said when he heard of Wednesday’s incident he immediately signed the warrant for Brunston’s arrest.
Just hours after the attacks Brunston was arrested as Rodriguez and his neighbors stood dazed in the street.
Even though Brunston was arrested, Rodriguez is still mad.
“This is nothing new,” he said.
Rodriguez said since Brunston took ownership of the three pit-bulls, he has been taunted by them.
Rodriguez said Brunston would routinely allow the dogs, while leashed, to provoke his dogs at their front gate.
“They fight those dogs,” he said.
Rodriguez said he has seen Brunston and others fighting dogs in the front yard of their home.
Two of the three dogs bore scars both new and old.
One dog had numerous cuts and what appeared to be an eye infection, while another, with tightly cropped ears, had scars both new and old on its face.
An animal control officer at the scene said the dogs will be killed by the end of the day.
Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said Brunston was charged with a violation of the leash law and arrested for the warrant originally issued on Nov. 4.
On Wednesday evening Mullins said Brunston was released on $237 bond.

do you see what happens to a dog after it kills???? it's put to DEATH that day!!
but a human can kill and they are slapped on the hand!!
i'm just using examples! animal or human WHATEVER!!! if those dogs were brought up to fight then that's what they were doing! what they were taught! but a human grows up learning right from wrong... choosing to do wrong anyway and still gets away with it! grr!! (for those who know me, know what i'm getting at here! it's late! and i'm already ticked that i'm not snoring up a 'melody' right now!!!)

Why?? Everyone who gets arrested gets their name in the paper. Why not the face to go with it?
If it shames them GOOD. Maybe they will think before doing the crime.

This fool needs some punishment to fit his crime. The arrest , take some money and stand on a corner with a sign that says" I don't care what animals feel because I am an animal myself put me out of my misery."

I am GLAD they put this guys picture in the paper. I am one that thinks all arrest should have a photo right next to their name.
This crime, it absolutely makes me ill. How can people train their dogs to kill? My stomach is turning over this.

Every Pitbull owner should be required to obtain libility insurance if they want to keep this type of dog. And maybe even register them as we do our handguns.

I used to have dobermans and when my insurance man came to check out my house for coverage the dogs scared him. I had to have a waiver on the dogs to get coverage. Now I have a Lab that will lick you to death.

I own 15 horses, more cats than that, and 11 dogs, all but 1 having been 'rescued' or dropped off by city folks to my place in the country. No dog is born 'bad.' They are taught that way by their owners. My dogs will lick you silly, roll over for a tummy rub, etc. However, I do believe they would protect me against critters - four legged or 2-legged - if they thought I would be harmed.
I love to hunt, but absolutely hate animal abuse of any kind. The clown in the pic is one who should be held financially and criminally accountable for the actions of his dogs.

OH NO he works at Stines? They have the nicest workers at Stines...that is where I got my Christmas tree and 2 guys, can't tell if he is one or not, delivered it the next day and were fabulous! Hate people who raise pit bulls to kill!!

I am going to get off the path here for just a second. I am going to rant about our Animal Control in Adams County. I called for assistance in getting a wild stray dog out of my fenced in back yard. That area is for my personal pets. A Trap was set and after two days, the trap was taken away empty, with the wild stray dog still in my yard. Then, it got in my house and we trapped it in a room and called for assistance from Animal Control. At which point, I was told they do not enter homes to get animals. Hmmmm... I don't know anything about this stray who makes himself right at home in my yard, even brave enough to enter it. What if this animal carried disease? So here I am without the tools of Animal control left to get this animal out of my home and out of my fenced in yard. So with blanket in hand I throw it over the dog and drag it out my front door. Now yesterday he's back in my fenced in yard. This morning he's on my front steps. You cannot get near this dog he growls and runs. The only opportunity to capture this animal slipped away when Animal Control refused to enter my home and get it. Something needs to be done about an Animal Control agent won’t even pick up a stray when someone else has already done the hard part of trapping it.

That man looked very shocked in this picture....So is it a fact that he fought these dogs or just a man saying he did??? if it's a fact then he needs to pay for that!! Poor dogs are like children and old people in away no way to defend themselves from crazy people...If you hurt a dog my way of thinking is you would harm a child or a old person...You can't be a nice person if you fight dogs....Kinda like that saying if your friend is nice to you but rude to a waitress/waiter they are not a nice person..

Bet he doesn't have a job with Stine's anymore. The look in the guys eyes like a deer in the headlights looks!!!!! So loosing his job, Pretty sure if employed by Stine's? by shirt he is wearing. Loosing his other meal ticket, Fighting Boxer, he will be facing punitive damages from fines, personal law suites and, maybe some jail time!!! I hear fighting dog's is a big game here in the county. Hope this starts a crack down and get this situation out of our county and our State but being a border town, our neighbors across the river, hope this helps you out also.

You never know. Had this guy load our Christmas tree a few weeks ago. Have been to Stines many times as well and he's been pretty cool and helpful. Just goes to show you how much you really know about someone.

I think a person that can sit there and get a kick out of watching dogs fight till one dies is sick, sick in the head that is and needs to be dealt with as a risk to not only animal but people to. Thats just sick!!!

reb1843 I used to think like you that no animal is born bad but I have seen, owned, and raised pets that for some reason do bite and are mean. It is just in their nature and this can be any breed of dog. Kind of like a horse that kicks all you can do is tie a red ribbon on their tail so everyone knows they kick and look out for it.

Pitbulls should not be allowed in Adams County. They are only good for one thing, fighting. The only people that want those ugly dogs are of gangster mentality. Open season on the pitbulls. If you see one just put a bullet between the eyes. Everyone will be better off for it.

I have to agree that if you know anyone that fights these dogs, you should turn them in. I had one attack my daughter years ago, we ended up in the ER getting a technous shot and stitches (at our expense!). But I do have to commend the Vidalia PD, they did take and quarentine this animal and then he was put down. There has been far too many attacks and deaths on people (especially small children) once they are trained to fight. This should be stopped, but the first step is to hold the owner responsible for crimes committed. Maybe they should be listed in the paper along with the child molesters, so you know if they live in your neighborhoold. I mean really, this is a dangerous situation for families with children. We need to get a handle on this!

TOO BAD SO SAD. I wonder if he has a TV. The news of VICK!!!!!!!!! This guys is going to have to go to the STEW POT for meals. He is not going to be able to eat after this.
As for the person w/ the Animal Control issue. I'd say call 911 and tell them that you have a gun and your are going to shoot this dog. That will solve the situation QUICK.
I HAVE NO PITY FOR THIS MAN. I have a chihuahua and when I walk him I carry a can of MACE AND A KNIFE, JUST IN CASE.
I AM ANIMAL FRIENDLY BUT NOT LETTING MY GUARD DOWN ON THIS BREED AT ALL.

Beam-me-up, I train and show horses, altho' I'm not a 'cowboy.' I find that horses always follow their alpha leader, those they can trust. Horses kick out of fear or to establish pecking order, not out of 'mean-ness.' Same with dogs. Unless they have some inherent mental illness, they are not normally vicious. There are many pit bulls, weimers, rots, etc. that are gentle as lambs. Just my thoughts on the matter, that's all.

I ALSO KNOW THE OWNER OF DUKE AND ANGEL, YOU CAN'T GET DOGS ANY BETTER THAN THEM.... DUKE WAS LIKE A BIG BABY, ANGEL TOO. IT IS SO SAD THAT DUKE HAD TO DIE FOR ANYTHING TO HAPPEN.

you are absolutely right reb1843! Case in point...my elderly parents live in Texas and have 2 rotts they bought initially for protection but that got blown out of the water! They are as you raise them...treat 'em with kindness and they will give that back. Same thing with a young child as they are being raised.

What's so sad is that these dogs have gotten a bad name because of owners like Vick and others who have abused them and turned them into monsters. I have a pittbull that I found as a puppy on the side of the road. He was in terrible shape and I just knew he would die but after taking really good care of him, he managed to survive. I really have a soft spot for these dogs and I for one don't consider myself a gangster!! I guessI really feel sorry for them because they usually end up in the hands of some loser that mistreats them and trains them to attack. If you treat your dog with kindness and take really good care of them...for the most part they will not attack...unless provoked. I do agree that alot of pittbull owners use them for their own sick reasons and own so many of them that they can't afford to feed them and these dogs have a pretty big appetite. Now just imagine if you were mistreated, caged, and hungry..How would you act?

It seem to me that everybody in against Vick, for dog fighting. I am will aware that dog fighiting is illegal, but to me it seem that people are more concern about dogs than humans. Vick is not the only person that committed this crime, but because he is black and is a professor football player; he is not the worse person in the world. I am sure if the law would look closer I am sure they would fine some of the other race doing the same thing. Now to respone to the arrest made in this article. I just wonder if the neighbor dogs had attacked Mr. Brunston's dog what would the outcome had been? Mr. Rodriguez is white. We migh as well face it, whether or not we want to admitt to it, RACE is still a major factors in a lot of cases.

I still stand by what I said. Some animals are mean by nature all can be made to be mean if you treat them bad enough. I have had well trained dogs that were mean when I wanted them to be but a few were mean when they wanted to . It is a catchy phrase to say there are no bad animals just bad owners but some are bred for a specific purpose and that is what is in their blood.

genlee i have to disagree with you totaly...i had a bulldog that looked really mean but would not harm nobody...not all bulldogs are bad just because they are bulldogs...i was bite by a dog when i was younger but it was a mutt not even no bulldog in it....if you think all bulldogs should be shot then in that case all dogs should be shot all dogs will bit they all have teeth....a small dog is usually your most vicious they just cant do that much damage cause they arent that big but you dont want them shot...also i think bulldogs are pretty dogs not ugly

Brother 2 brother, I myself am black. You are correct, Vick is being prosecuted because of who he is and what he does but I, as a black woman, am tired of pro athletes, entertainers, and others in the spotlight acting a fool when you know you are in the public eye. I think what he did was very STUPID for a person who has accomplished so much. I pray it doesn't destroy him because he is human and we are not perfect but DANG Vick. As my grandma use to tell me growing up in Natchez,"If you don't have any sense..at least act like you got some." I really didn't want to say DANG but I didn't want my comment removed!! LOL!!

Whites are no better than blacks. Whites kill, steal, use drugs and do the same thing that blacks do. But when it come to punishment than "Whites" make their on laws; there are different law for "WHITES" And I stand on what I said early and now "The reason is white is white and black is black". I agree there are different laws, for the rich we have no laws that a lawyer can't get around, for the poor what do they have to lose they get a free lawyer but woe to the working people if you offend or get out of line the law will eat you alive and in the end, innocent or not they own you.

My goodness makeing it another white vs.black issue. Im sorry sayitoutloud not long ago there was a fighting ring busted in La which consisted of whites. Its not just one race thats doing it its sickos that are doing it. I think Vick deserves everything that comes his way, WHITE OR BLACK its against the law!!!!

Hate is a strong word...I can remember that was one of those words that got my tongue a good plucking. How many of you ever had your tongue plucked..not a good feeling. Pit bulls have been banned from several cities and states, no matter if your hispanic, oriental, black, and/or white, if you own one you are eventually asking for trouble. This breed has always been a very aggressive breed. The truth of the matter is that it occured and actions were taking regardless of race. But, for someone to throw the race card up in this discussion, is nothing more than a racist himself, who is bored with their life and just looking for something or someone to hate. Hoping that they can make someone as miserable as you they are.

I do agree that our judicial system is flawed, but I also see our welfare programs being flawed and abused by both white and blacks. This just isn't a race issue. It's just wrong. A JACK RUSSELL!! i made the mistake in getting the boyfriend one on one of my trips to NTZ. let me just say i have had my doubts about this dog.. RUSTY, but soo far so good. fingers crossed!! he's still a puppy really but he has now started doing the barking thing while staying on the porch.. This dog is treated better then MOST HUMANS!! UGH! It is about time justice is served, this has been a problem in the community I stay in for a while, my neighbor's pit bull attacked my dog, we went to court and I still have yet to get any restitution from it, my dog survived...but he has yet breed and gotten other pits...This is neither a black or white issue, this a people issue...Dog owners should be held responsible for what their pet does...These dogs are dangerous especially when the owners train them to attack...The City of Natchez needs to take this very serious...I have children that stay in this community and I would hate for a child to get attack before this is taken seriously....

I actually was attacked about 5 years ago while jogging behind Parkway and the dog was part pitt and the one bite he got in looked like a flippin shark bite! Tried to sue the lady who owned the dog but apparently because I used the wrong lawyer nothing happened....he only cares when his thumb is yanked off by a hot air balloon....nuff said.

What in the hell is really going on when freaking animals take precedence. You people need to understand that these are animals and no matter how you try to domesticate or think that they are tamed they are animals. Don't get me wrong I like animals as well as the next person but I know how to keep things in perspective. I can think of alot of ways my tax money could be spent instead of wasting time and money prosecuting over a dog. This is ridiculous for real. People you all need to prioritize. If your animals are that important to you move into seclusion and you never have to worry about anything happening to them. Don't waste my tax dollars on non-humans. The money wasted at these shelters could be money spent on babies, children and adults who need shelter; food; medical help. This is a sad time when a dog or cat can see a Dr. before my child can see one because no insurance. You people need to wake up smell the coffee and keep animals in their place in the wild. You hooped and hoolered when Michael Vick was sent to prison...did you know that you now are supporting him cause people are stupid.

If you sue someone in a case like this, you don't need a lawyer. You file in small claims court. Take your police report, Dr. bills, hospital bills and any vet bills, plus any witnesses. You will Be compensated for your loss. The local Clerk of court can help you with where and how much it costs to file. The last I heard was $34.00 and the judge will make the defendant pay that too.

Does the same rule apply to an owner who buys a dog to protect his or her property? I know people who buy dogs and train then to protect their property. So if their dogs so happen get lose someway and kill someone's pet and the article was different, would these comments be the same? They were trained to protect and dog fighters train to fight, but if in both situations an innocent dog, so to speak, is killed, then what do we lose? A dog, right. People train dogs to be mean for more reasons to fight people. I don't agree with dog fighting, because it's cruel and evil in some sort of way; but I just wonder what would be said it this was a pit bull in a suburb, that barked at people as they walked by, and got lose and killed this man's dog? Then what would be said. This is just an opinion. Take it the way you want.

Yes drawpaintsing, if that animal GETS LOOSE, the same law still applies. If however it is in the enclosed yard or business that it is guarding, then no. People can read signs that say beware of dog or this business is patroled by guard dogs. If an animal gets into there, and gets hurt or killed, The owner of the guard dog can not be held liable. Because each person is responsible for keeping their animal in their control.

Just gonna add my 2 cents...I am an avid animal lover as are most of my family members and my son has had 2 pit bulls and you could not have asked for kinder, sweeter more loving dogs. However, he did keep them confined. That is just part of being a responsible pet ower. We have to protect them as well as protecting others who may come in contact with them. It is a crime (as it should be) to fight dogs and the owner should be prosocuted to the fullest extent of the law. Why anyone is surpried at the picture, I'm not sure. Sensationalism sells papers. It just the business.

Ok. I have sat and read EVERY comment on here and I can't believe some of the crap that is on here.
My husband is the pround owner of a "dangerous breed" dog. We have raised him since in was only 6 weeks old. When we got the dog I took him to the vet and asked for some tips on raising hiom to be kind. I followed those tips. You could not ask for a sweeter dog. If you were to walk into my yard today with no one there he most likely lick you too death. A family member has the sisiter to my dog. They couldn't control her so the dog was brought to my house. Since she has been at my house she has completely changed herattitude. It is in fact all in how you handle an animal.
So I think this man should be held accountable? YES! Do I think he should have gone to jail? YES!
This is a very sensitive subject with me. NOONE had the right to miss treat another livng thing.

jammin1 I am only in my opinion stating the way I feel. And I an entitle to that, just look at the cop in the Peterson's case in Chicago and the young lady at JSU. In Chicago this man (killer) is still walking aroung. Now on the other hand the young man in the JSU killing is in jail. Now let me say that is and was good police work. Thank God he was caught and he should be punish. Can't say the same for the Peterson case. Again White and Black, both are dead. Now, as far the dog fighting, Mr. Burnton should replace Mr Rod's dog and pay a fine, but to be jailed is a bit much, remember this is my opinon. We are starting a petition for pitt owners to have liability ins. on these animals and that can not reside in the city limits. for the sake of smaller animals and children, and anyone that can't protect themselves against these animals.
i also hope that the fed. marshall that is here now can make a difference... remember the topic a dog got killed by another dog, it could havebeen a child playing in the front yard of your home. This has nothing to do with race...

Brother 2 Brother..Not a good argument. Those cases are different. Tasha Norman's body has been found and her boyfriend was not formally arrested until her body was recovered. If Im not mistaking..he led them to her body. The Stacy Peterson case is still considered a missing persons case. Drew Peterson has been named a suspect in her disappearance. Just because police suspect someone of foul play doesn't mean they can just throw them in jail without the proper evidence.

Boy, this story really rang home for me. When we moved to Natchez a year and a half ago, we brought with us our chocolate lab mix, DUKE. He was a sweetie, loved to run, and rolled all over the place with our kids. NEVER snapped or growled at them, and rarely even barked when someone knocked on the door. Then we moved here, and the kids from next door and down the road started taunted him daily. They hit him with sticks, shot him with pellet rifles, all because he would bark at them. So, we built him a pen that he stayed in during the day, and we still brought him in at night. These very same kids would wait until we left, and then go taunt and abuse him through the fence, We started noticing changes in him, he was grumpy, would run for the road at the speed of light after anything that moved, and started growling at strangers that came to the house. The vet advised we have him snipped, which we did, but still, he got worse. It got so bad, we couldn't leave him in the pen, he would be so mad by the time we got home, he would be competely uncontrollable. Then one day, he darted out the front door, and attacked a dog that had wandered in our yard. My 11 year old tried to break them up before anyone could stop her, and he bit her. I LOVED my dog, but I loaded him up and took him right then to the vet and had him put down. I drove to the vet with my pet, his head laying on my lap, and drove him home 15 minutes later with him in a box in the back of the van. All because some people teach their children it's ok to abuse "worthless animals"...he was such a sweet dog before we moved here, around these trashy people that seem to have no standards at all...sorry to type a book, but I just wanted to join those that say, it does not matter what breed a dog is, their behavior is based on how they are treated. Duke was a loving pet that loved kids until we moved here where he was continually mistreated when we weren't around. As much as I loved him though, I could not take the chance of him seriously injuring one of my kids, which is why I did the responsible thing, and had him put down. Pit Bulls are no different than any other dog. Treat them kind, and they will be kind. Introduce violence, and they will be violent. Simple as that. My condolences to the poor man who lost his beloved Duke, I'm sure he is heartbroken. :(

I love dogs but I do feel that some dogs are breed to fight or act as attack dogs, whether they are Pitt Bulls or German Shepherds. All of this could have been avoided if the dogs were sufficiently confined or restrained by fence or leash.
When you own a dog, you will love it just like it is a family member. If anything happens to that dog, it tugs at your heart. I feel really bad for Mr. Rodriguez's loss. If Mr. Brunston had been made aware of the threat his dogs posed to the neighbors and other animals, and he did nothing to rectify the situation, he should have been arrested.
We read, all the time, about children and elders attacked, injured and/or killed by vicious dogs. This is a serious issue that really needs to be addressed. I'm glad the Natchez Police are upholding the law and made an arrest. Now, maybe other lax dog owners will act with urgency to secure their dogs, too.

Inmyopinion..No, I don't think the arrest is race related. I believe that owner would have been just as upset had the owners been white and that's because he loved his dog. He was arrested because the man filed a complaint. If he trained those dogs to fight then he should be held responsible. I don’t care if you're Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, etc. I do believe the young man should pay compensatory damages but I don't believe he should go to jail.
We DO have to understand that this is a public forum and everyone has a right to his or her opinion. No matter how bent out of shape we may get at that person's opinion..that's what they believe and you can't change that. Brother2brother is only stating what he feels just like everyone else on the forum.
For instance, some of my family and some of my husband's family weren't to doggon happy with us being married but that's what they felt. My husband lost touch with a lot of family because of me. Now my son is always being asked what color he is and if I’m his real momma. I have a 10 month old and this elderly white lady was saying how beautiful she was. In the end she says, "Her mother must be proud." I just laughed to myself.
Now my husband was blind to racism until he married me. He can tell you some stories of us being out to eat and not being waited on because he was with a black woman. In the beginning we would get bent out of shape about it, no we always do something to really get the person mad..like show a lot of public affection. They hate it..both black and white.

The point I was trying to make to Brother2Brother was that he was wasting time arguing, because Blacks don't understand Whites, and Whites don't understand Blacks. Until we do, there will be racism. I was really trying very hard not to state this. But after I was attacked by so many individuals on the site for my commets, I am go to tell the real truth and I don't care who don't like it. HERE IS MY STORY......
Let me sum of this story. When dogs was unleashed on slaves (blacks) and bit them, hunted them down so they (slaves) could be beaten, killed, and even have their limps cut off from their body. Nothing was spoken about brulality. So what all the fuss about now. What is the real issue, is it becasue the Black man's dog killed the White man's dog or is it really that the two dogs were fighting (although that is only natural).

To kayce...I understand completely about the restaurant deal. I'm a white woman dating a black man, and we BOTH have had to deal with negative comments and looks from others, INCLUDING OUR FAMILY. When I get the looks, whispers, stares, etc., I just smile at them because I know the man I'm seeing is a GOOD man, and we were meant to be together.
Brother2brother...I understand where you are coming from. Racism is a big issue in the south...always has been and always will be. Some white people do treat black people differently...but PLEASE do NOT think that all white people are like that.
For every one else...there is only one race, and that is the HUMAN RACE!! Be more receptive of those around you and you will be really surprised at how things will change. All people are different...learn to accept their differences and MOVE ON!!!!

peacerulz How do you know that the dog intenditionally left to roam free. He owner from the picture was at work and may not have been aware that the dog was unleashed or ungated. It seem to be that no one in the community step up to call animal controll. I am don't saying it was their problem but someone could have taken the initiative to contact animal or even contacted the owner.

Apparently, there was an ongoing problem with these dogs. The article staes that the orginal arrest warrant sat on the judge's desk unsigned for three weeks. I think the judge should have to pay for some of the expenses.
Also, the owner was obviously aware that there was a problem. He should have taken a closer look at what he was usinmg to keep the dos restrained on his property.

I agree with most of your post, whatever. Good luck to you and your man. Alot has changed over the years, it's not nearly sooo bad to mix races today as it was when I was in school.... My point is, 100 years ago there was no mixing of the races at all.... 50 years ago, you could of perhaps even suffered with your life had you mixed races...... today it is even better, so perhaps the race issue will improve as well... I was raised in a very prejudiced family. I was told, as a child, that black people were nasty and that I was never to have contact with them. I grew up!!! I started seeing things for myself, and came to the realization that black people aren't bad...it's PEOPLE that are bad. Not all, but some. My baby biracial...and my dad was furious at me for dating, much less sleeping, with a black man. I let most of his comments go, because he is my father, and I respected him enough to understand he was raised that way. However, I have had to since put him in his place when he makes comments to me. I don't tolerate it at all. He and I are enough alike that he knows now when he has pushed me too far. Now, he doesn't say anything negative to me, about me, or about my child (his grandson) and we are ok.
That's why I think people need to open their eyes and see the truth around them. Yeah, it will challenge every belief that you have held your entire life, but that's life. If you don't learn something new everyday, then you might as well be dead.

Truth..when I was in high school I frowned on it and look at me now. When we learn better..we do better. When Ken first asked me out..I though "H to da no". My brothers will kill me. They use to treat him so bad in the beginning but I gave them a piece of my mind. I started rolling my neck and telling them that he was my man and if they didn't like..I really didn't give a ____. I have a question! If it had been a person who was seriously hurt or killed would it then be justifyable to arrest this young man. BTW-I am proud of this young man b/c he will get up and go to work. I see alot of people who are looking for jobs. The ones that cna get through the interview can't seem to pass a drug test. This one obviously did. Man I have to come in late on this argument.... Well, just to put a spin on this I was bit a couple years ago by a BOXER! I absolutely love Pit Bulls! I know a lot of people who have them that are the sweetest dogs ever! I know one personally that I absolutely love and that dog treats me better than some humans treat me! But I have also seen the bad side of these dogs.. the side where when you walk by their cage they stare at you like they wanna kill you, the side where they fight any dog they can. But I have also seen a Black lab fight and some little mutt mix. Not only pits can be trained to fight any dog can. And just to let you all know I knew of several WHITE people (not in Ntz) who fight dogs. Its not just a black thing. HA HA oh and KAYCE you totally cracked me up w/ your comment about white ppl fighting chickens and black ppl loving chicken! Girl I loved it!
Anyway basically what I wanna say is all dogs have the potential to fight if they are raised that way. Not all Pit
