Be a part of Natchez Scene
Published Tuesday, February 26, 2008
NATCHEZ — People across the Misss-Lou are becoming part of the scene — the Natchez scene, that is.
Natchez Newspapers Inc. announces the launch of www.natchezscene.com, a new community-based photo sharing Web site where readers can build collections of photos and share them with others.
Natchez Scene will highlight the diversity and excitement of the Miss-Lou through user-submitted photographs and photographs taken by Natchez Scene staff members.
Natchez Scene
To visit the new Natchez Newspapers Inc. Web site, Natchez Scene, go to the following link: Natchez Scene .
The site has two main sections, “We’ve Scene” and “You’ve Scene.”
“We’ve Scene” features photos taken by the site’s staff at events throughout the community. From school and church events to area social occasions, Natchez Scene photographers will be scouring the Miss-Lou taking pictures and then uploading them into an event gallery.
“You’ve Scene” photos are user contributed and grouped by user created collections and galleries. Registered users are free to create collections which house galleries, which in turn house photos.
From birthday parties and holiday occasions to a simple day in the sun, readers will have the chance to share their snapshots with other readers.
Users can register for free by clicking on the “Register for Free” button at the top of the www.natchezscene.com homepage.
Any users already registered with www.natchezdemocrat.com are already signed up yo be part of the Natchez Scene. Those users can click on the “Sign In” button at the top of the homepage, enter their natchezdemocrat.com username and password and they will be ready to be part of the Natchez Scene.

After being raised in Natchez and then moving away for 20 years, I look forward to seeing the pictures from both areas of interest.

Kevin Cooper will you be posting pictures to the Clark Creek album? Does that file on there mean that you've been chasing waterfalls? I'd like to see those pics.

Great idea !! What a wonderful way to get people out and become aware of what a great part of the country this is . It can't help but promote a sense of pride . Might even get some people to stop littering . Nothing like springtime in Natchez
