Cauthen hospitalized after wreck

CORRECTION: The following story contained several incorrect facts. Mr. Cauthen is a former county supervisor and was not re-elected in 2007. His accident was Sunday in Adams County, not in Jackson. We regret the errors.
NATCHEZ — Former Adams County Supervisor Sammy Cauthen was involved in a car accident Sunday.
As of late Sunday afternoon, Cauthen was in intensive care, but in stable condition at University Medical Center in Jackson.
