Full confession? WONDERFUL!! It worries me to no end that crimes like these happen within 2 blocks from a school! My condolences to the family who lost their loved one. God bless everyone in this day and time we're living in!

We, the family, THANK ALL OF YOU from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and concerns as we go through the grief of our son, brother, father, step-father, uncle, brother-in-law, friend, fishing and hunting buddy, employee, and last, but not least, Child of God. May God bless you.

Well said kpage. How could a person do this horrible
deed and then confess so quickly? Sounds intentional
rather than a spur of the moment. So tragic.

((concrnd2)) my prayers to you and your family.
You do have the closure of knowing what animal did this to your loved one. Now this animal can't hurt anyone else. Like you said we all need to say a prayer for his family also, they had nothing to do with it & I'm sure they feel very terrible to have lost a son in a differnent way.
Keep the faith you seem to have & it will get you through this horrible time.

Great work VPD on identifying the suspect and building the case. Great work also goes to NPD for making the arrest and holding him for VPD. It takes team work. When agencies work together things get done!

((ntzmom)) Read the article. It said Ricardo Kentrell Dukes, 29, of 6 Ray St., Natchez, was booked at the Vidalia Police Department on charges of second-degree murder shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday.
The victims name has not been released that I know of. I did see a comment calling him Frank.

WOW!!! This is heart breaking. I grew up living right beside him. He was a wonderful person. Growing up around Frank and his step kids was so much fun. He use to take us fishing, berry picking, and everything. He even made a garden in the back yard. Those were the good old days. He use to crack jokes and make us laugh. We would get mad at him, but we couldn't stay mad for long. Anything you needed him to do for you he was always willing to do it. Frank, we love you and you will truly be missed. May God bless you Hannah, Bessie, Diana, and BoBo.

Why does the Natchez Democrat write about crime and {other things} and not have the proof! The Democrat does not! It's the bored and one sided people that constantly comment on this sight! I know a person that was judged, tried, and possitively identify by u guys and is now found innocent! Your comments and cause personal pain and family chaos! Now everyone is jumping on the band wagoner about a person who is innocent until proven guilty. The Democrat has not even updated their report for over 20 hours! how do u have the facts? Please wait until u have the facts before u comment!
