Ferriday placed on boil water notice
Published Wednesday, April 9, 2008
FERRIDAY — Residents on the Ferriday water system have been placed on a boil water notice until further notice.
The town’s water was shut off for approximately an hour and a half Wednesday due to a break in a water service line, Water Superintendent Gregory Griggs said.
The boil water notice was given because of the break in the line.

As a matter of fact Charter cable is about to go belly up there in Ferriday. Come June the only thing Charter Cable can offer is a few channels. No satellight services, no cable internet at all no phone service. Yea the Cable Co. is a joke just like Ferriday.

Charter doesn't offer internet or phone in the Ferriday area, Just cable tv.
And soon you won't be able to pick-up local antenna channels. That only leaves satellite.

At least there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The Great and Powerful Gene Allen will soon be out of office.

I've been so busy the last month, I'm out of the loop! Whatever came of the investigation on the "leaks in the funding for water system" in Ferriday?

A most pathetic situation for the little town of Ferriday. All the good citizens need to stand up and be counted. Get control of your town back.
