Man charged with sexual acts pleads not guilty in parish court

VIDALIA — The Wildsville man arrested in January on charges of committing sexual acts on a handicapped person was arraigned in court Wednesday.
Jackson M. Ellard III, 26, pleaded “not guilty” to charges of 12 counts of sexual battery of the infirm.
The alleged incidents reportedly took place between September and December 2007, according to law enforcement authorities at the time of Ellard’s initial arrest.
Ellard is being detained at a Concordia Parish correctional facility on a $201,750 bond.

What a sicko! I am the blessed mama of a "SPECIAL" child. I would LOVE to have just 10 minutes alone with this sicko! All I need is a rope and a bat. May God have mercy on his sick soul! Makes me wonder if Hell will be hot enough! Jesus said in the Bible, whatever you do unto the least of these, you have done also unto me. Handicapped people are forever innocent. I pray that the sicko pays for every second of torture that he put each special person through! Again, God have mercy.

Why did he plead "not guilty"? Remember innocent until proven guilty in a court of law? IF he did these horrible things then, yeah, put him in prison forever. But there has to be some reason he thinks hes not guilty.

Almost always a convict pleads NOT GUILTY! In their twisted mind they are innocent. Once they are found guilty in a court of law they then turn to religion or claim to want to further their education. It's a sick pattern these sickos have & will continue to have.

overthehill, I agree with you! NOONE pleads guilty unless they think that they will get alot less sentence. He wouldnt have been accused and arrested if there wasnt evidence against him. It takes a truly sick minded individual to commit crimes against children and "special" people!
