VIDALIA — Two teenage males were injured in a one-vehicle accident on Saturday, officials said.
The two were traveling on Concordia Extension behind Vidalia Market when their red Toyota truck veered off the road. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle overturned in a ditch. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
Both males were transported by ambulance to Natchez Community Hospital.

Both boys are ok, the driver was 17 and air lifted to Jackson but will be home in 3-4 days. He has a few cracked vertebrae. The passenger had only a few scratches. No alcohol was involved I heard.

I was at the ER when the young man was brought in......Neither of the 2 were wearing seat belts

Haha, well who does nowdays?
I'm 17 and i'm told all the time I look older [sometimes younger :( ] than I really am.
The oldest kid MIGHT be 16, and the other one was 15.
But either way, I'm glad they're okay. This should tell us ALL to wear seatbelts. People tear up and down that road acting stupid everyday... trying to drift that curve. Its sad that it takes something like this to make people chill out on that road. Doubt that will even happen though.

wow vilou09 wish other people your age would think the way you do about seatbelts. i sat in the vhs parking lot one day to pick someone up at mostly all of the students who drove off didnt put their seatbelts on. at least, the ones i saw
