Rentech transaction nears end

Published Friday, May 30, 2008

NATCHEZ — On Friday afternoon Rentech’s vice president of corporate communications and governmental affairs, Tom Sayles, said Rentech officials wired the money to purchase the old International Paper site.

“The dollars are in escrow,” he said.

The last part of the deal, expected to be completed early next week, is a contract completion between Rentech and the St. Catherine’s Creek Utility Authority.
