That prison is being built for federal inmates and has nothing to do with our local crime problem. The judges, in particular Sanders, gives slaps on the wrists to this kids and the crime wheel keeps on a turning.

I wish Sheriff Browm and Chief Mullins would implement a marksmanship program for the thugs. They could wear badges like we did in the Corps--Marksman, Sharpshooter, Expert.
Then they may not miss so much. One shot,one kill. Take some thugs off the screet. Like who cares??????

It's just criminality associated with drugs. Decriminalize drugs and use a fraction of the billions saved for drug education and all this will go away. Most of those federal inmates are non-violent drug offenders, eighty percent of that sixty percent are marijauna offenders. The local thugs are just doing what they see on tv which is mainly an advertisment for filling up the growing number of prisons.

Everytime something goes bad, "let's replace the judges." And the only judge thats ever mentioned is Judge Sanders. I wonder why, since there is another Circuit court judge in Natchez but we shouldn't blame him for anything. And secondly, why should either be blamed in this case where in this article does it say anything about a former prisoner shooting at someone,it doesnt. It just says there was a shooting. Who's not to say that it was some kids who have appeared in front of the Youth court judge many times or at that someone not from Natchez. So, before you go throwing blame know the facts. But as we all know you HATERS don't really need a reason to complain about Judge Sanders any reason, no matter how unrelated it is to the story, will do.

Talk with Danny Barber at NPD we will give you the facts. Also, the traffic at the hospital is getting worse. My wife was involved in one at 12 noon yesterday all because someone is unable to read the sign that says right lane closed ahead and darts in at the last milli second and cause a accident.

This article was a complete waste of time and space AND attempting to throw some humor in there with the "have it your way" Burger King slogan is just sad. There is no humor here, not even a chuckle. Unless you are working and have a reason to be out that late or early, you shouldn't be on the streets..... and Lord help anybody who DOES have a valid reason to be out there and gets innocently involved in that kind of situation.... I went with my daughter to court a few years ago concerning her ex-husband & a certain judge not to mention any names took us into his chambers & gave my daughter his e-mail address in case "she needed someone to talk to". The same judge is still doing it because I know a lady that went a few weeks ago & he did the same thing. I'm just glad I went into the chambers with my daughter!!
When we can't even trust the judge who can we trust?

I have a feeling we would be surprised at the people that carry concealed weapons. There's something just not right about this incident. I agree with (seeemeeego) I didn't even know the Burger King was open at 3:15AM

Actually no she did not "send my boyfriend to jail"... I don't go for thugs. What she did do however, is not give my murdered friend the justice he deserved and the guy who killed him (4 years ago) is back on the streets running around to do as he pleases. So I agree with everyone who says that JUDGE SANDERS DOES NOT DO HER JOB. She's the reason that crime is so rampant in Natchez. Her and any other judge like her are to blame.

Swapmeet, sanders is not alone, johnson does the same thing in concordia. These slaps on the wrist given by them both is just frustrating and disgusting to the citizens of the MIs-Lou area. It is time we fought for a change in the judicial system that would reflect a change in our towns by electing judges that will lock up these criminals and get them off the streets of our communities.

About all these thugs shooting, the NPD, DA, or Judges can't protect you. There only there to investigate and judge after your dead. Take care of yourselves, I'd rather go to court for shooting a thug than have my family attending my funeral
