Hedrick appointed Ferriday chief

FERRIDAY — Ferriday Mayor-elect Glen McGlothin announced Wednesday he would appoint local wildlife agent Kenneth Hedrick as chief of police in Ferriday, effective July 1.
Hedrick was chief of police in Ferriday in the late 1970s.

That's what Ferriday needs, a law enforcement officer experienced in dealing with the local wildlife.

Great Choice, Kenneth Hedrick will do a good job in Ferriday. He will be professional and fair to all the people.
Given a chance he will make Ferriday a safe place to live and raise your family, just like it was when he was chief before. Good Luck Chief Hedrick.

State wildlife agents have almost the same training as a state trooper when it comes to the laws, GREAT MOVE Glen.
