I used to live on N. Pine, now MLK, and I could walk to Carpenter I school. Won't even drive through it now.

HAS to be drug related huh Free? I still hope the guy who was shot twice in the upper body makes it.

I guess that was his wife? Sure do hope they are ok. It may not have been drug related, could be domestic problems, money, any number of things. We are all quick to blame drugs, but there are a lot of problems in the world and people too quick to solve them by violence.

How could it have been domestic? Iris Green was also hit by a stray bullet, not by her husband shooting her.....
Chances are it was drug related.....
Mississippi doesn't have attempted murder....

Mississippi doesn't have 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree murder. It's called Manslaughter

Freedom your right it may not have been drug related people are so quick to blame drugs for everything. If it was then it was but people are so judgemental just because the shooting happen on Beaumont Street and Woodlawn Avenue. We have to wait until tomorrow and read the full story.

Well I guess it is murder, because he did not make it. It is so sad that this has happened. Who knows what it could have been about? All I know is we have a dead young man and I can truly relate to that. My brother was also 19 years old.

My prayers go out to the family. May he wrap you in his arms.

I thought he was in stable condition?
This is so sad. Loss of life over quick dumb decisions. That boy will probably spend the rest of his life locked up and a family has lost a loved one. Sad, sad.

I got this from the street committee, later I heard that he is due for surgery tomorrow. I just don't know, maybe we will have to wait and see.

I guess the ND was wrong about the stable condition......
I agree swapmeet....

If he was in stable condition in one of our hospitals, thats not good either. I don't trust either one of these hospitals with an ingrown toe nail. It would be nice if they were combined and we actually had a trama unit.
