Gustav prep, worries begin
Published Thursday, August 28, 2008
NATCHEZ — As Tropical Storm Gustav comes swirling into the Gulf of Mexico, the Miss-Lou has begun to brace for its possible ramifications.
The Adams County Chapter of the Red Cross and the Adams County Emergency Management Agency began preparations at the beginning of the week and now have swung into high gear.
Chapter Manager Angie Brown said the shelters — mainly local churches — have been notified that they may have to open for evacuees.
“That’s the first thing we do is we notify our shelters,” she said.
The eight shelters in the area can house approximately 1,000 people, Brown said.
Once the first shelter is 50 percent full, Red Cross asks for another shelter to be open and once the first reaches 75 percent of its capacity, they begin to move people to the second, and so on.
“Instead of all the shelters opening helter-skelter, we have a process that won’t waste our human or resource materials,” Brown said.
She said Red Cross vendors have also been contacted to let them know food orders may start coming in soon.
“Then of course we’ve made contact with EMA directors in other counties, Amite, Jefferson, Wilkinson, to see if they’re going to need any help on getting supplies down to them,” Brown said.
Both Brown and EMA Director Stan Owens said the most important thing right now is having locals prepare themselves.
Owens said residents need to have enough supplies to last for 72 hours.
“I would go as far as saying from 72 hours, I believe everyone needs to be prepared to take care of their family for three to seven days,” he said. “I know it’s hard for some families to do that and kind of stockpile that kind of equipment materials.”
Materials needed are water, nonperishable foods, an FM radio, flashlights, spare batteries, medications and cash.
“If the power goes out, the ATMS don’t work,” Owens said.
As for EMA preparation, Owens said the agency has been gathering its equipment like generators and tarps and making sure everything is fully functioning. Owens said if the storm continues to move on its projected path, it will essentially mimic the path of Hurricane Katrina.

Stan and Angie keep up the great work. Stan keep us updated on this storm as it approches. People watch this one closely. Pressure is dropping rapidly, meaning it is getting stronger. Still a long way out and predictions are putting it in the gulf coast region.

I expect there will be many more people evacuating from New Orleans to Natchez this time. If they don't heed the warnings to leave and it does hit N.O., they have nobody to blame. Bobby Jindal will be better prepared than the last governor and hopefully Ray Nagin learned something too.
Get prepared ahead of time so you won't have many stressful situations with the influx of strangers. Although it was denied there were lots of incidents where people were preyed upon and intimidated by some of the, let's say, thuggier visitors from N.O. after Katrina. When you look down at someone's leg and see a house arrest anklet or wonder where the sexual offenders and drug thugs went too, it's not very comforting to think they may be in your home town.

EVERY single church in this area should become a shelter to these people instead of them trying to pay for hotels and such in the area.

Aug. 28 1963 - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gives "I have a dream speech" - Little mention in the Democrat
Feb. 26 1967 - Wharlest Jackson killed in car bombing - Little mention in the Democrat
Aug. 28, 2008 - First black nominated to be president of the United States - Little mention in The Democrat
People say times have changed. But when they look back in the annals of history - like The Natchez Democrat - I hope that they will see the newspaper for what it was and still is ... denying history doesn't mean it never happened. Thank God for other news outlets that help tell the story.
With so many Natchezians at the convention its no wonder they didn't send a reporter to Denver - but then again that would be embracing history - not turning its back on it.
We have come a long way - but as The Democrat has always pointed out - we still have a long way to go.

Jeff, when Obama sealed the nomination, this paper also had ZERO to say about it. They are NOT happy about it honey, let it go, WE ARE however, that is what counts. Watch the fanfair during the Republican National convention however.
This is a historical moment, one for which I am very proud and NO ONE is going to rain on that parade for me! I actually got a little misty and started recited the Declaration of Independence. "We hold THESE truths to be self-evident, that ALL men are created equal..."

Jeff I agree with your comment, but I think it would have more effect under a different article. Why not post it under the healthcare opinion too? It could be that the Democrat relies on the AP stories on the bottom left of the home page to report national news.

Barack Obama knows that America can not be strong abroad unless we are first strong at home. People the world over have always been more impressed by the power of our example, than by the example of our power. (Bill Clinton)

Does anyone know what our local hotel occupancy looks like for this weekend into early next week? Of course, it's still a little early to tell what will happen with Gustav, but I wonder if our hotels are showing as booked up for that time period.

JeffNatchez:
I'm sorry you feel that we haven't covered Obama's success well enough.
Obviously, we try our best to cover local news first, then state, then national. For most state and national news we depend upon the Associated Press for most of that coverage. A community newspaper our size simply cannot afford to have enough reporters to handle all of that type of news.
I'm not familiar with The Democrat's coverage of Dr. King. I simply have never looked through the archives. Since our building burned in the late 1960s, we don't have easy access to these. My guess, however, is that since it wasn't local the newspaper probably depended on the AP for that coverage, too.
I have, however, extensively researched the Wharlest Jackson case and our coverage. I even personally wrote several stories on this in the late 1990s when the case was reopened by the Natchez police.
Your comments about our coverage of Wharlest Jackson's murder are flat wrong. The days after the murder coverage of the crime and the community's reaction to it was all over the newspaper. Further, we've rigorously reported on the work to reopen the case and find the killers since then. Unfortunately, those efforts have come up empty thus far.
Again, the main difference here is that Wharlest Jackson was local. He lived here, worked here and was killed here. King and Obama, while certainly of massive importance, are less accessible to us and thus we depend on AP coverage.
Thanks for reading and for commenting (though I wish you'd not post the same comment on multiple stories).
Kevin.

Kevin, thank you for clarifying that the Democrat did cover that case and for keeping us informed with the facts.
Maybe Jeff can write an opinion article covering the DNC and praising the historical nomination of a person of mixed race for president of the USA. While Obama may look more black, he is just as equally white.

I have read several articles on Wharlest from the Democrat, he is actually my relative. What my concern was that even on a NATIONAL level, Obama's seucring the nomination could have gotten the front headline. Someone who could potentially be the leader of this country. I know that scares a lot of people, but I am more frightened by the other choice.

well happy bunny,
He and McCain both have a lot of hot air in their lungs...and that is the exact same thing that powers hurricanes, so that would be the only connection I could see..
Maybe the Hurricane tracking center can follow McCain and Obama and see where they are going to be the next few days so they can accurately predict where the most damage will occur.
Just my random thought on the subject.

I believe you are right about more people coming your direction. Baton Rouge will have no shelters and the hotels are booked for Saturdays game and the new rule with the hotels is that there are a certain number of rooms blocked for emergency personnel and contractors. When Katrina happened they had no place to stay because the evacuees wouldn't leave. I'm heading away from Ascension Parish very soon and hope that I have a home to come back to. I live 45 minutes NW of New Orleans.

The AP seems to cover things quite well (I thought). I think that most people don't bother to read that, though. Why spend the time and money to rewrite the exact same story that AP has already written? It makes perfect sense to me to use that resource. As far as Obama goes, I don't think of him as "black" at all. Please don't slam me for this, people, but I am much more concerned about his muslim background than the color of his skin. I don't think the people of The Middle East would dare to ever appoint or elect and American or white person to run their country (especially since we are at war with them). Just seems wrong somehow. Again, only my opinion.
As far as the hurricane goes, I hope people learned from Katrina and I hope there is no loss of life with this one. I think most are much more prepared this go 'round.

Well Robin,
McCain is in Arizona today with his rhetoric and Obama is in Denver talking with Bill and Hillary, so the chance of Gustav heading west instead of North is slim to none...to much high pressure hot air in the west today....Gustav can't move all that hot air. New Orleans had better watch out...not enough high pressure hot air there to save it.

The presidential election is in November so there will be much more politics to talk about between now and then. Heck, the two candidates haven't even debated! (The event at Saddleback Church in California was a "forum" not a debate)
As for Obama, I haven't heard anyone in here go beyond the candidates' skin color! What about their positions on abortion, same sex marriage, healthcare reform, the energy crisis... what about each candidates voting record on these issues? I won't vote for a candidate, wheather black/white, man/woman based on the color of their skin, but on the content of their "moral" character. This country was founded on Christian principals and no matter who wants to deny that, the proof is historical fact! Just look at the money we use "in God we Trust" If Christ has a problem with killing unborn babies and homosexuality, shouldn't the "Christian" president of a "Christian" nation be against that also! The word Christian means to be "Christ Like" I can see how someone might be drawn to what a candidate says or sounds like, but do not be fooled by one who only says what YOU want to hear or what you "think" you want to hear. You cannot rationalize sin and by voting for or against legislation that is in anypart sinful... i.e. "Well I voted for stem-cell research because it could save many lives". Kiling an unborn fetus doesn't make saving that life ok! The moral character of these four candidates should be weighed as the first and foremost factor in making a decision of who to vote for. If you can truly live with yourself as a Christian when casting that vote then you have either voted for the right candidate or maybe need to reexamine the basis of your "faith"!

the democrat pays to be able to publish AP stories and the amount of news that can fit (legibly) is determined by the amount of money they want to spend on newsprint, labor hours, etc. Plus, the more advertising that brings in revenue leads to more news; however, I will say that I have seen more and more "specialized" print coming from the paper in the last decade. Think about the "special" sections you might find at any given month that The Natchez Democrat produces: The "Profiles" section is annually. A Fall & Spring "Pilgramage" section (biannually). The Real Estate Guide (monthly). And I'm sure there are others I just can't think of right off hand. And I realize that the advertising in each of these sections pays for the printing, but I think that the public has always been disappointed about the lack of state, regional & national coverage and many of these "special" sections could be done away with so the actual "newspaper" could be expanded.

When the Republicans start believing that the act of taking any life is against God, then I will consider the abortion debate to be logical and real, and then use that to determine my vote. In my mind, any taking of life is against God, as only God has the right to take a life. With these two candidates, you either have to support war as McCain does, or support Obama giving women the right to choose, and both men are Christian.
George Bush is still blowing hot air for at least 4 more months, so we can, more than likely, expect several more hurricanes this season.
Google: HAARP and then Nicola Tesla.
The LA Guard has been sent to New Orleans to face the storm and aftermath. I dunno but it seems to me that sending them after the storm would make more sense. What if they all get hurt during the storm?

Two high pressure systems, one around Florida which would suck Gustav up toward Florida panhandle, and one above Arkansas, which would push Gustav south, will control this hurricane. If you moves out before the other, chances are the hurricane will be pushed away from or toward that direction.
As of right now, nobody is sure where it will go, not TWC, not CNN, not God, not me, not Mayor Brown, NOBODY!

How can a certain few sit and worry about the presidency at this moment??? Come on people...I thought Natchezians had more intellegiance that this!! Why even fill up this comment space about that when the article is concerning a threatening hurricane...geezz...but if the few of you are so inthrawled with Obama maybe u should check out this link...pretty darn interesting..
http://www.atlah.org/broadcast/ndnr07-28...
u say he is black and white...what about the blood that runs thru his veins....his family heritage should say something for him....and his inexperience...how would u like a 2nd grader teaching a 12th grader...that about sums it all up...at least McCain has served his country and knows what our soldiers are going thru over there. How can any of u forget 911....do we want that again????
Let's focus on the subject..the HURRICANE...I once lived in Natchez, and I know people are caring...but I saw things first hand when Katrina hit....I lived in Alabama....and worked for a trucking company...the ladies in our office set up a road block to raise money for the people that had fled or lost everything...we found people in hotels that had nothing but the clothes on there backs...no cash...only enuff money to stay 2 days...let's all focus on how lucky we are...and send up our prayers that no one has to suffer like that again!! We were blessed to raise several thousand dollars in a 5 hr time, and help 5 families that were in the hotels and sent the rest to the Red Cross....so start thinking of possible ways to help these people if the hurricane hits their area...that's the most important thing at this moment!

Way to go GopherBaroque, you said it right, although some parts such as biological evolution and geologic and climatic changes over 4.6 billion years was left out. And when we wipe ourselves out due to our "state of the art" energy sources, or maybe due to a meteor impact which is said to occur in April 2036 (I think, may need to google that),nature will prevail and the earth will contine to spin until the sun explodes in about 16 billion more years. Then as the sun dies, gravity will take over thus forming a black hole. Black holes....

In a black hole, it is so dense that a thimble full of matter is believed to weigh something like 1000 million pounds! Unbelievable. Science is so fascinating, where something so small, such as a virus (Yellow Fever virus which can be from 0.004 to .100 microns) to the VY Canis Maroris which is 2,600 times the radius of the SUN!
Most people can not fathom how small or big that is just as most people can fathom geologic time compared to biologic time. That is why I do not believe God is in charge. Everything is created by something that previously existed, and there is always legitimate proof to back it up, it is called SCIENCE.
We now return to the Science Channel.

Please, can't we all think about how this storm will effect our lives and familes. We need to start preparing for days with out our basic utilities. This storm is not going to come in and hit only the people who like one person or the other. This thing does not think, it will take lives and distroy property of everyone. We need to pull together and prepair for the worest and hope it isnt like Katrina. Now, that said.
Think about filling up your tanks before the storm hits. Gas prices are going to rise due to the lack of production in the gulf. There may even be some damange to production plants. Think about the small details that can cause large effects in your or your families life. These are the things that are improtant for the next few days. After the storm is over go back to be littling each other if you like. Lord knows I have read enough of people putting each other down in these posts to last a life time.
Ok, now you can talk about how I miss spell something or that I don't know what I'm talking about. As long as you read and think about what I have said, it doesnt mater to me.

Wait a minute, if it's racist to call black folks black, what is the non-racist word to use when being discriptive of a black person's race? Excuse me if I didn't know. I mean, black gotta be better than what I was taught to use, and I hear persons of African decent using that one quite regularly. I'm sorry to be so ignorant of the politically correct terminology, but neither of my parents made it to high school, so they really didn't care whether any of their kids did either. They preferred that we help out on the farm and said that if we didn't work, we didn't eat. And quite frankly, if becoming a scientist would have made me as arrogant and condescending as you are, I'm glad that I didn't get the education that you so boldly boast. I know you didn't. LOL
As far as donating to Obama, do he accept IOUs? As a matter of fact, I did check the $3 box on my tax return for a donation to the presidential election. And, had I known that the DNC was so gonna be so much like Woodstock, I certainly would have bummed a ride to get there. John McCain said that he didn't get to go to Woodstock, because he was tied up at the time, but he can make up for missing that party next week at the RNC.
And I'm not criticizing you, I'm trying to improve you.

Well, Serpentina, the only word I noticed misspelled was woerst. And for your information, I recently heard that the man delivering the gas said it was going up soon to $5/gal. I already filled up my tank and bought some canned goods. But, I like your comment and I agree. I have been searching for reports and the last one I checked said it may come ashore Tuesday.

Peace, if sayitloud emailed you calling you a no good black **&^*^* and every other name in the black book, you would say what you needed to say in order to defend yourself. She mocks me saying I am not what I am. All I am trying to do is defend my profession. Think what you want, I am not one to boast until someone starts telling me I am NOT SOMETHING I AM!
It is not fair for you to judge me as being arrogant and condescending when you dont know the entire story. So please go argue your unproven point to someone else and PLEASE do not give the racist sayitloud something else to stand on against me. I have worked hard to get to where I am today just as I am sure you have. My credentials are worth bragging about.

Deception, Trust, .. and Online Security ...
In this fast-paced, internet-based culture that we're all a part of, there are a few things that we all need to be aware of. Among the long list.. items that we all need to be cognizant of, relates to online deception in all it's forms (MySpace/ Yahoo 360 Identity Fraud, Identity Theft, Security of our personal information, players, con-men/women, etc..).
Unfortunately, an ever growing majority of those on-line are NOT honest.. trustworthy.. or even who they say they are. MOST of these deceivers are fulfilling some inner need (conning others, living vicariously, boosting personal confidence, a fling.. a cheap thrill.. who knows).. most compelled to continue.. or addicted to the virtual recognition or relationships they hold (not honestly knowing the person on the other end of the wire).

If you go back and read previous comments concerning recycling, you would see this. However, peace on earth is not an option, too many people, too much selfishness, jealousy, hatred..on other words, too much fear. And no Sayitloud is not a psychic to see though the internet, she just calls me black because she is racist. Actually, I am a whilte female, age 32 who now lives in South LA.

You are obviously to ignorant (your term not mine) to understand what Democratic nonsense you are spewing, just toting the party line, which is a whole lot of promises that NO ONE could deliver.
And YES notfromnatchez, she/he/it continues to bash McCain for being a prisoner of war and praises the man that befriended a known self-proclaimed terrorist and studied under an anti-American, racist preacher.

Let's get ready for the Republican nonsense next week. Go get educated and informed. Just because your parents were not doesn't mean you have to be. This is the dawning of a new age. It's very simple people. If you have been enjoying the housing market, the economy, the gasoline crises and everything the last 8 years has brought, please, be my guest, vote for McCain as there will be little to NO change to what we have going on now. If you however want to see this country PROGRESS and actually MOVE, if you want to see Bin Laden captured, and not some red herring of a war, then vote Obama/Biden! The truth of the matter is, whomever gets this mess has their work cut out for them. The EASY thing to do would be to get into office and carry on this same ole' mess! Good day.

WHAT HAS OBAMA DONE TO SHOW HIS SUPPORT FOR THIS COUNTRY???? Do you really REALLY believe that Obama can be-friend all of our enemies (Venezuela, North Korea, OSAMA)??? Do you really think that if he gets elected, all the nations in the ENTIRE world will be our allies?? Do you really REALLY think that the United States will be free of foreign oil in 10 years?
All of these things are empty promises, WORDS that sound OH SO GOOD, but in no way will ever happen. Number 1, there is no way this country will be rid of foreign oil in 10 years when the DEMOCRATIC PARTY signed a contract which DOES NOT ALLOW drilling of the Gulf Coast 5 months out of each year!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you TEACH4PEACE, even realize that everything you lay your hands on each day was in some way made from oil?????
Number 2, do you really think all these other countries (which possess ~80% of petroleum reserves) will be our friends? Think they wouldn't stab us in the back any chance they got???
WAKE UP! We need someone with EXPERIENCE that can FIGHT for our freedom. Most countries in this world DESPISE us due to our spoiled and wasteful nature. If we are going to keep living how we live (which to me is wonderfully), someone STRONG and POWERFUL has to lead, not someone who is empty, has no experience, and who is promising illusive dreams.

McCain was the one who used that line on Hillary about not having gone to Woodstock and saying that he was tied up at the time happy bunny and notfrom. And that's what I meant when I asked, can McCain answer a question without bringing up his POW days? When asked about not remembering how many homes he has, McCain goes into POW days...I didn't have a home, I didn't have a table, I didn't have a chair. But previously McCain himself has said that candidates shouldn't use their military and war experience to run a campaign, but apparently, only he can. When he can't come up with an answer, because he is an empty suit, he reverts back to POW memories and this is why I think he is suffering from PTSD.
What we need in this country is change, not the same old Bush 8 years like we've already been thru. We should give Obama a chance, because McCain has already had 26 years and hasn't done anything but blow up in people's faces when they crossed him and reminded them that he had been a POW. Many have been POW and many are still MIA, and you can fool some of the people, but there are Veterans of the Vietnam war who know the truth. Yes we should give Obama a chance, and give McCain PTSD treatment, and drug test Cindy.

Hillary wanted to be the first woman president. But now her chances are going down the tube. If Obama wins, she may have to wait presumably 8 years. If McCain wins, He probably won't make it 8 years. So that would make Sarah Palin the first woman President. I love the fact that HITLERY will never be president.

happybunny there are many people in this country that don't have a high school education, and some have a little bit more than that, or a little less, but that doesn't make them un-intelligent and incapible of voting in an election. You don't know whether I was joking or just trying to make a point because of the silly banter being spewed by obamayama. But, judging from the comments of the "supposedly educated" on this forum, I will say that having an education can turn some folks into arrogant cyber bullies, and I don't know that having an education helps, if you can't see the flowers for the trees. It just simply makes you a smartaleck! You can lie and tell people all day long how good their life is, and if it's not, people will still know, regarless of how stupid you tell them they are. It just seems to me that the Republicans are attempting to play some silly magical Jedi trick to convince people that they're mistaken about the last 8 years and that we weren't fooled into going to war over false reports of weapons of mass destruction.
We don't want more lies and deceptions. We want and need change which is what Obama can give us. McCain will only give us 4 more of the last 8 years. Gas is going up to $5/gal real soon, orange juice is already over $5/gal, and food prices continue to rise. I just don't see how we can take 4 more years of the same failed Bush policies.

Now to anyone that wants to correct any of my mistakes please do because I only got a high school diploma.
Now for the main topic, Gustav, the main thing is we should all get gas while it's still available. As everyone knows I am NOT looking forward to all the evacuees added to the ones that never left. Of course while there is still danger it's fine, but once everything clears up they should go back where they come from. People know when they live on the coast there's this risk so why do they live there?

Palin is young and doesn't have the experience...so there goes McCains bashing of Obama being inexperienced. McCain has no experience being president either. And if McCain does get elected, that still doesn't mean that Palin would become the first woman president, unless he dies while in office, but if not, she would have to run for president herself and get elected after his term is up. So don't get all giddy over it, because he hasn't won yet.
Google: Cindy McCain's sister and then tell me why it's ok for Cindy to lie about being an only child? Why should I feel good about her becoming first lady when she won't even acknowledge her own flesh and blood and has stolen drugs from sick babies and refuses to share a inheritance with her own sisters? How can she make a good first lady and care about all of the people of the United States when she can't care about her own father's children? How can McCain make a good president when he has allowed Cindy's behavior and lies? Their relationship is not what it's supposed to be or he would take notice; they have most of their married lives lived apart, theirs is a marriage for political reasons. Her charitable organizations were for her own benefit (for the drugs). Her trip to Georgia was strickly for political purposes and maybe for some rehab time. Why hasn't she ever gone to any of the US cities suffering from disasters?

She wants to be queen, but she hasn't the compassion to even care for her own family and denies them, as if they don't exist. No that's my daddy and you aren't his just because he donated DNA for your existance. This is my daddy's money and I'm keeping it all for myself just because I can. I need drugs and botox and breast implants and plastic surgery and million dollar homes, I'm not sharing my daddy's money with any of you paupers and I will deny you to the world and call myself an only child because you had different mothers.

Your only defense in my previous comment concerning Michelle Obama's thesis is to bring David Duke into all of this? Where did that even come from? That is in no WAY a legitimate arguement. Try again.

This country is more open to all races than ever before, yet the black community still complain, what more do you want? A Black President? Then what? Black Power? Isn't that similar to Marxism where it is to be allowed that the black community is to take over the world. That is what "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright preached about.

Obama plans to cut taxes for 95% of all working families. End our oil dependence in 10 years. Eliminate capital gains taxes for small business and start-ups. Fund education and increase teacher's pay. Make assessable to all Americans affordable health care. change bankruptcy laws to protect pensions ahead of CEO bonuses. Equal pay for women and men. Close corporate loopholes and tax havens. Stop rewarding business that go overseas with tax cuts. And most important establish a time frame to remove troops from Iraq.
And that's all I have time to share with you, today. If you want to know more google his acceptance speech.

INDIVIDUALS have the responsibility to take care of the poor NOT governments…each person is responsible for himself and his family, then if he can't make it, his other family members should step in, then friends, then church organizations. If none of those can help then, as a last resort, the government is there. If we had these values, there would be no need to forcefully take obscene percentages of successful people's income from them.
And if you can show me even ONE verse in the King James version of the Bible where it says that governments should tax their citizens more to help the poor, I'll swallow the Bible whole, join the democrat party right now, donate 50% of my income to the federal government, and do bake sale fundraisers for Barack Obama.

Yeah, lets remove troops from Iraq WHILE WE ARE WINNING! Real smart. How about another 9/11? Then what, spend the money to put them all there again?
Let me ask you this peace007, what do you think Obama will do if there is another 9/11? Think he will run to the leader of the Taliban or Al Qaeda and ask them to be friends?
I mean, really, why cant we stop being selfish about our lives, and start thinking about our children's lives. These terrorists aren't going away. When we remove troops from Iraq, what do you think terrorists will do then?
Obama's views are based on a typical selfish United States citizen who cares only about the amount of money that is in his/her pocket, not the future of this country, not our freedom, but how much money we can have RIGHT NOW.
He says give affordable healthcare, that is already in place, it is called medicaid, and it drains mine and everyone else's paycheck. But I do not care as long as I feel safe in my country from terrorists or nukes.
McCain is tough, and that is who we need.

Obamayamama in this country we are all free to vote for whomever we please. I will vote for whomever I wish too, and there ain't nothing you can do about that, so just stop having your little hissy fit in an attempt to control me. You can not control me. You just vote however you choose.

This is an old article now Obama and most folks are looking at the newer ones. So very sorry to burst your bubble about thinking that everyone in the south were reading these comments. Oops, thought you had found a little fame, eh. Nope. Wrong again.

Good one old oneliner, your lines just get more and more STUPID. And just when will I find out I am nobody?
See peace, there is nothing you can say about the absolute. I asked what would Obama do in another 9/11 event and you cannot answer.
All I am trying to do is debate, it is you who can not keep up Peace. Your little comments saying "I ll vote for who I want to" remind of third grade.
Thanks Bob, I feel like Einstein when dealing with you guys. Man, you all are no fun.

WOAH WOAH WOAH, wait a minute, hold on. SAYITLOUD, what are you doing in this conversation? You are the biggest racist of anyone I have ever encountered. If I were to post the emails you have sent me, Peace 007 and every other A.A. citizen would despise you. You probably KNOW David Duke personally!
You are such an extreme hypocrit. You email me with nothing but racial slurs then come on here and TRY TO root against me by teaming with the people on here. My My My, I would certainly say you are bottom of the barrel. Now go get your bobby and go nite nite, it is past your bedtime! ahha

You know you just aren't happy unless you are bashing someone ANYONE and attempting to put yourself on a pedestal!

if diarrhea of the mouth is your idea of fun, I'll take a pass.
It figures you would feel like Einstein, you have a very inflated opinion of yourself.
Don't you have a hurricane coming up in your backyard?
Got nothing better to do than spew, Obamayamama?
Do you really have a job? or a life?
No more off topic for me..... I will leave that to you.
good night.

obama, I can't just stay on here all the time. I just come and go when I get a break. You sure don't want to give me a break huh. But, for a minute there I almost thought you had started missing me when I didn't respond soon enough. Oh well, now I've forgotten the question. You win. I have other things to do than stay and play with you on a Friday Night. LOL

This is crazy. I said Gustav would have trouble going west because the hot air coming from th epolitical convention and th epresidential campaigns out west, and it totally degraded into a name calling and personal bashing because of some political ideals....i was just joking around about all the hot air coming from BOTH presidential candidates...They both are doing a lot of talking.
Lets get some rest and go take a break folks.....
Have a good nights sleep.
