Because people don't realize, if they don't buy a ticket, the balloon race will go bye-bye. And so will one of the best things Natchez has ever had. Again, it shows the kind of damage greed can do.

How much are the tickets?

First of all, I have done that before and found the "stuff" at Rosalie to be most un-entertaining. Sorry folks, just don't care for the music they have at these events and not much else going on. Also, it is not conducive for those of us with handicaps. I cannot lug a chair from vehicle to grounds and there are no places for handicapped individuals to sit. Also can't be out in the sun. BUT, I do enjoy seeing the balloons and we try to catch them from someplace we can view for the car. The balloons are beautiful.

Well if you don't like good weather, music, nice scenery, fair food and maybe a beer, stay away from the balloon race. Most of natchez does like that, so that poll doesn't mean much to me. The tickets prices are listed on this link

I do hope the race is very successful. There's a lot of preliminary work that has to be done to prepare for such an event. Yes, beer, food, tickets can be costly. T-shirts are outrageous. But, it's still a lot of fun and if the weather is nice, it is great fun. The view from either side of the river is something to behold.

I posted on the article story so I would just be repeating myself here. I'm glad they have started letting us comment on our votes. I've looked for space before to comment about my vote but there was no space. When did this start?

seems some folks expect stuff to be free and consumables cost what they did 25 years ago. those don't count as anything other than something for nothing folks....

Hold your breath.... it's coming.......

It is true that the balloon races have been a little boring in the past 5 years or so. The choice of entertainment has been lacking excitement since Don Gardner left. He was in charge of the music. In case you read this Don, we sure do need you to send some help to the entertainment committee

im quite sure Better Than Ezra will delight us with fantastic music!

They seem to get a lot of the acts that Don did too. What they do differently is the acts Don never got close to entertaining. Whats wrong with something new that is not skewed for 40+ year olds?

Its fun regardless and well worth the money. The music lineup looks much better than last few years. The band that played street dance was horrible but looks like this year got it right with better than ezra.
