I know D. G. McLaurin, Superintendent at that time spoke. But I can't remember anyone else.

BTW does anyone know why the comments on the woman killed on Cranfield Rd. have already been disabled? That was fast. I never read any of them.

When I graduated in '88, the principal and the val and sal spoke. I don't remember if anyone "important" spoke; I was too excited about the partay that night! Gosh, that was 20 years ago this month!

I was emancipated halfway through the year in 1974, so no formal ceremony was held for my class of one. There were four informal speakers though, and they were George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin. Samuel Clemens was there too, but he didn't speak, being too overcome with emotion at my new freedom. Alexander Hamilton made a brief appearance but he left early, not liking the assemblage.

People being rude and insensitive like dangyanky is what probably got it shut down.

Somebody spoke at my graduation???I was a little bit abbreviated that day....or as some folks would say, he had a snoot full...he was inebriated.......lol...I dont even remeber who spoke at my college graduation, and that was only 14 years ago...much less 24 years ago...

Our salutatorian and our valedictorian spoke at my HS graduation. Don't remember the speaker at my college graduation, but Bill Conti conducted the orchestra. Someone hit him in the middle of the back with a champagne cork while he was conducting.

Ha, Ha! Red, Mine was only 5 years ago and I have no clue... Don't even remember anything but getting ready before, walking across to get diploma, spending forever trying to get out of the parking lot (I went to Ntz High, lots of people), and then the beginning of the after party... That's about it..

I'm afraid I have to agree with msrn2005, for some unknown reason I just cannot remember. I am sure it was somebody but for the life of me I cannot remember. It could have something to do with that handsome young man who had just asked me to marry him!!!!!!!!!!!!
