Had a bike, but gave it to my son when he went back to la Tech to get his MA. He wanted another car since his was totally shot, but told him a bike was all I could afford. He rode it for two years. Then graduated went to work and bought his own car.

anyone riding a bike please watch yr as. cause the other poeple aren't thats for sure. thats how my big brother got killed, cause no one was watching out for all motor vehicles.peace to you who ride and GOD BLESS

Got a used 3 speed just last week! I want to use it to ride down to the store for those "oh I need this for supper" trips. About a mile downhill, but then coming back up I will get a real workout!

I want to get a bike. I've been flapping my gums about it all summer long but have yet to get one. I want one with the basket on the front (remember the tall baskets with the big ole flower on it...like Jan Brady's on the Bunch?) and I want a battery-powered turn signal set-up like the one I got from TG&Y when I was 8.

Really, I want a bike.

I wish you luck OldGrandDad. My sister loaned me hers, month's ago. Then, just recently, she and her fiancé' both bought a new pair. She ended up giving me the one she loaned to me. Theirs have front disk brakes! That was new to me.

Womens bikes were built, the way they are to this day, without the bar from the seat to the handle bars, because in there hay days, women wore dresses most of the time. So, if they were to ride a man's bike, their dress would sail in the wind. And we all know what that would mean...Woohoo! LOL
