Why is the govt. competing with private industry? I like having a choice of where to go, but i do not understand how the county got stuck with having to run a hospital. I'm not being a critic, I just don't see how it's in our best interest.

Whatever keeps the doors open. NRMC is about 20 miles from me, however, I think I will take my chances on getting there than where I live. I recently experience a hospital stay in my area that was not to pleasant, to say the lease.
