The Mississippi River completely covers the base of Silver Street. The Isle of Capri has moved closer to land and further south to dock at D.A. Biglane Street.

Khalil Brice, 12, stretches toward the ball Sunday afternoon during a makeshift tennis game on the Vidalia Riverfront. Brice, a Jackson resident, was in town visiting family. Sunday’s warm temperatures drove Miss-Lou residents outdoors on both sides of the river. Temperatures are expected to cool down again today.
