Clockwise from top left, a house on Old Reed Street is supported by wobbling bricks. The house was inhabited by a mother and children until recently; a cement culvert and drainage ditch in North Natchez are a part of the North Natchez Drainage Project; Marblestone Road is so narrow that only one car comfortably fits on the street; drainage is so bad on Louisiana Avenue that a heavy rain can cause water to fill the street; an illegal dump site in north Natchez isn’t all that unusual; and drainage problems on Buckner Alley cause continued problems.
