Obamayamorona. Ever stop to think that if all us inbreds in Natchez just picked up and left, Vidalia would be a dustbowl? You think your new hotel is for all the tourists to visit Vidalia? Dont believe it? Go stand on your glorious side of the river, and look WAY up and WAY down the bank. See any other towns? Nope...not until you get to Baton Rouge in the South, and God knows what in the North.
And Ive driven through your wonderful neighborhoods where all the homes are on streets named after trees and fruits. Just you wait...those suckers are listing for $89k...welcome to "Roselawn West" in a few years. The colors will be different, but the end result the same.

Sometimes its really sad to see the number of bored housewives, and and people who just want to see their clever username in print in this town. I mean really people...come on! There are 4 guys that broke into someones home, and all you people can talk about is what the owner spends her money on?
Its called democracy. If she earned it, she doesnt need you snobs with "$150 10 year old tvs" questioning her actions.
If I want to spend my entire paycheck decorating the interior of my home in pink neon and tin foil, who are you idiots to question me. Granted, it would be tacky...but it would be MY tacky home...maybe I'll spend my next paycheck on $5000 worth of shoes, that dont even fit...did I not earn the right to do that?
And the amount of talk about a window unit. Jeez. Do you people know how many window units are in Natchez? Probably 10's of thousands, and thats what you focus on? If these thugs wanted in, she could have had 5 central air units, and no window units....they would have found a way. Do you really think they were out roaming the streets looking for window units? How bout all the recent break-ins...were rogue window units involved...nope.
Some of you people couldnt get the main point of a story if it sat on your face....THIEVES WOULD BE THE FOCUS OF THIS ARTICLE. Ughh.

Wasnt suggesting country...I don't care for country, sorry if thats what it sounded like. Most of the bars have good rock bands. Noone dances to them. They only dance to rap played while the band is on a break. Whats the point of even hiring them?

1. Welcome to "Roadblock, MS" every night Fri/Sat around 1:45 am.
Here is where I open myself up to the bashing...
I would say the majority of the problem past 2 am are your rednecks from Monterey, Jonesville, Gloster, etc that come to "paaaartaaaaay whooohoooo" until we sweep them back home. They are involved in most of the fights I see, "cuz dat boy brushed against me" or "he wuz lookin' at my gurlfriend, Lolita wrong." Nothing against these towns, or residents, but when I drive down Main St. on Fri/Sat night and there are more La tags than MS, I wish Natchez would set up a roadblock at the foot of the bridge EVERY night to get people going back home. Go to your own bars...fight each other all night. Why do you feel the need to prove how bad you are every night? It would be much less tense at night not worrying about being suckerpunched at any moment.
And PBNJ, the reason that Bigloves and Dimples and now Andrews play rap all the time, is because thats all these idiots dance to. Watch next time you are out, you can have a fantastic band...noone dances to anything but slow songs, and they pack the floor as soon as some "c"rap starts booming. Throwing up fake white boy gang signs acting like they live a rap lifestyle, even though they will be back on a John Deere on dads land on Monday.
And your hubby had some loud bands when he owned that bar. Even though that wasnt "promised" when you opened, Bigloves is selling what they have to to stay open. Unfortunately, that happens to be rap.
