Well I have to agree raising the fees is a bad decision.
Me and one of my buds can go to Beau Pre for the same price now and play at a real golf course with a real pro shop and get a real sandwich between front and back, not to mention get to hit balls free at the driving range.
A public course is not supposed to cost as much as private course. If you want to get more golfers to Duncan make it more affordable than it is to go to Beau Pre and id bet revenues would go up...

I have to agree the Katrina statement is a bit much, I for one am sick and tired of people blaming every little thing bad that happens on Katrina.
It will be your kids that were born and raised here that comit the next crime.
Everyone in New Orleans was not a thug, seeing how the average education of the people living in this area is like 9th grade you should not make accusations of ANY-ONE from another city.
Stop blaming other people for your inadquacies and get involved in your own community and help make a difference.
Also before the mud slinging starts I am not from New Orleans, nor did I intend to offend anyone, just saying what is the truth.
STOP blaming other people. Remember when you point a finger at someone, you have 3 more pointed back at you.

Mardi Gras, which is French for “Fat Tuesday,” is the last day in a season called Carnival and the day before Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent. Depending on the location, the Carnival season is two weeks in length and is characterized by merrymaking, feasting, dancing, masquerades, and general licentiousness. The carnival season is typically celebrated by Catholic countries.
I hope everyone has a great Mardi Gras and god bless.

I cant wait till CNN gets ahold of this on the web, Then the whole world can see how goofy and pety the meetings are. Smile your on candid camera. Great way to use technology. Hopefully things can start getting resolved in public and the backbiteing can remain behind closed doors...Thanks Ben and the ND.

Look BOA in Natchez no arguing... hmmm and making progress. These people in Concordia Parish have what you dont in Natchez... UNITY. see the difference.

No Unity same ole same ole when it comes to these meetings, the people of Natchez need new city officials, PERIOD... please remember that next time you vote. Take into concideration the type of person you are voting in as a whole not because your cousin knows them. With unity Natchez could grow so much faster and be much more prosperous.. Just my opinion..

Really the bottom line is this. A child was lost, no matter what the cause of it was, there is; Im sure alot of pain for family and friends because of their loss. Im not a real religeous person so I wont go into the whole gods better plan thing. The one thing I will say is this touches my heart in the deepest corners as a parent. I couldnt imagine the pain of having to bury one of my kids. The love of your friends and family will pull you through your loss.
