Dannys lounge stays open until daylight most of the time and they are able to stay open like that because they applied for,,,,,and received a "restaurant" license from the city of Vidalia!
Thats what the entire problem is! They used to have just a "nightclub" license and had to close at 2:00am just like all the other clubs in Louisiana do,,,,,But now they don't have a certain time to close! I blame City Hall for approving a restaurant license for this place when they knew that it was nothing more than a BAR!
The wreck on the bridge happened at around 4:00am! Those kids had just left Danny's Lounge when they had the wreck that killed two of them! If Danny's had been closed at 2:00am like they should have been,,,,those kids might still be alive!
I hope after July 1,,,,,Dannys is closed for good!

I don't either Peace! I would loved to have seen “Casablanca” at a movie setting like we used to when we were kids!
Are they planning to have more movies like that in the future? I'd like to take my hubby and see one!

The only program that I know of in Vidalia is The Feed The Hungry program that the Assembly of God Church sponsors!

I think it sucks that Ferriday city employees are getting a 6% raise and Vidalia city employees are only getting a 3% raise! The cost of living for Vidalia city employees has also risen above the 3% mark!
Vidalia is much larger than Ferriday and at least the Police in Vidalia don't mistreat their citizens like the Ferriday police do!
I think the Aldermen in Ferriday should get a raise,,,,,but absolutely NOT a $500 raise!!! Thats ludicrous!!!

I could care less who you are!!! And haven't bothered to try and find out! But I do know that Dannys lounge IS responsible for MANY MANY wrecks,,,,,,,and there have been multiple stabbings and shootings at that place and when the police try to find witnesses so they can help,,,,,,NO-ONE seems to have seen anything or heard anything,,,,,,,,,although they were ALL standing outside when people were shot or stabbed!!!
Then everyone wants to raise hell about the police not doing their jobs! How can they when no-one seems to want to help them or the people that were hurt???
Just like that multiple car wreck that happened on the bridge! Those kids had ALL just left Dannys when they had that wreck! They had ALL been drinking!
Sure there are other establishments that have problems,,,,,,But NOTHING LIKE AT DANNY'S!!! I hope they close it down so no more of our youth are killed because of that place!!!

Why hasn't anything been published about the shooting at Dannys Lounge in Vidalia this morning around 1:00 am???
A man was shot twice there and taken to Regional! I don't know his condition!
From what I was told it was a drive by!
That place is nothing but a problem spot! There are stabbings and shootings there all the time!

It wasn't "shaken baby syndrome",,,,,His death was caused by "apparent massive head trauma" according to the article!
I have to wonder where the mother was while her baby was being beaten to death! You know he was crying out when that jackass was hitting him!
This makes me so angry!

Where were the Police that are supposed to be patroling those streets? It wouldn't surprise me to know that Gene Allen called Madison and told him to make sure his officers made themselves scarce in that area to give Gene Allen or whoever he hired to break into City Hall and steal paperwork that could help get him convicted!
From what I've been told,,,,,It was the City Inspecters computer that was stolen with all the "permits" on it!
How convenient!!!
