I've been so busy the last month, I'm out of the loop! Whatever came of the investigation on the "leaks in the funding for water system" in Ferriday?

Cameras are very very cheap these days. You can purchase them for less than $100 at Wal-mart or Sam's. If you are not familiar with technology, find someone who is and ask them to install cameras at your home and have them recording. Eventually we will catch the people doing this type stuff and make an example out of them.
NTZglasshouses comment made me laugh too. Whoever you are, you are SO right! I wouldn't tape cash to the door for them though, they would smoke that or drink it up in no time and come back to steal the copper anyway. I'd try putting up help wanted signs instead! Directions to the unemployment office, or even a copy of the ten commandments!
If I were the detective on this case, I'd find the places that purchase copper in town. (Chances are they are too broke to be selling it out of town, the amount they would spend on gas would be more than what they make off of the copper.) I'd get a list of everyone coming in to sell it, the dates they were in, compare it to the dates of the crime, and begin watching their asses until you catch them in the act. The fine for these criminals should be 1,000 hours community service to habit for humanity. If they can rip it down, let's take their time putting it back up.

I prefer having two hospitals in Natchez. If one place is overcrowded, understaffed that day, or any other problem, you can go down the road to the other hospital.
You can get second opinions without having to travel out of town. Each facility is ran a little differently, and I like the option of having two facilities to choose from.
I'm thankful for both hospitals and all the hard work the employees put in.

I typed in "Obama saluting the flag" on google and searched through all the images and I found the one that was displayed on the national news, where everyone else has their hand over their heart, but Obama does not. I don't believe that image has been edited...it's the real deal. I also found a pic of Bush where the caption says something about Obama being criticized for not saluting the flag, and it shows Bush with his hand over his stomach instead of his heart. I found two of Bush like that. Bush looks like he's busy thinking about what's for lunch in those photos...
If you search and find any pictures of Obama saluting our American flag, or wearing a lapel pin of our American flag, let me know! Obama has excuses why he doesn't salute or wear our flag, but I don't want excuses, I want a president who is not ashamed to salute the flag that represents this country.
I agree all of our flags should be manufactured 100% in the U.S.A., and not JUST the tags that say they are. I know that's how a lot of stuff works, if it's made in Mexico but the tags are made in the U.S.A. However, even if the flag was made in China, it's OUR flag.

Obama, you should click on my name, and read all my posts. Your accusation that all I do is point out people's fault instead of debating is not true. Anyone can see that by reading all of my posts on this site.
You see, you made an accusation, and I direct the people to where they can go to see the truth. How's that for debate? Go read my posts and learn that you are wrong. I have no desire to get revenge on anyone, so your statement has no validation whatsoever.

Obama will not wear the American flag lapel pin like the other candidates do. I saw with my own eyes Obama on the National news in front of an American flag and he was standing next to Clinton and McCain who both had their hands over their hearts, but Obama did not. I don't know whose flag it is he salutes to, but whoever it is, I suggest he go to their country and be a leader. Our entire military stops what they are doing on base and salutes the flag when it is being raised. If Obama is above our flag or ashamed of it, he is applying for the wrong job.

Congrats to the Ferriday basketball team for winning. Now can you please tell your police that it's inappropriate to block Lafayette's traffic so they can escort a bus of kids in town for a basketball game. They were using their lights and 3 cars to stop traffic at the intersections so they could go right on through. That's b.s. If it were a funeral or an emergency that would be a different story. It's basketball.
I just realized how ignorant my previous post was. I didn't realize it was Gene Allen himself trying to act as if this is about racism. According to the press, he's the one turning it into that, and trying to act as if this is all just politics. If he's not doing anything wrong, he should have nothing to worry about.
