Did you all notice that there was contact to everyone it seem except Ricky Gray. He acknowledged that he did not know of the meeting. Mathis comment seemed upsetting when she said it was personnel and confidential. Well someone is talking out of that meeting. Can't be too confidential if that person heard on the streets about her being laid off. Everyone know that she and Ricky always have each others back. I wonder?

Well, my guess is going to be that the deputy left it open for the theives. He is probably going to get some kind of cut or have gotten a pay off to keep quiet. He should be put on administrative leave. He has endangered another officer's life with thoes kind of weapons in the wrong hand. We all know that that they do not make that much money and the way the economy is, they are not above the recession. There are some crooked people on the force. I agree with "speakup" another Barney Fife in Natchez.

Way to go Braxton. I was once employed at AJFC in Natchez until I moved away. I really enjoyed working with the children and most of the staff. I hope they get someone as competent as Lamar.

I remember those days when my children played for T. M. Jennings. We really had some good times out there. The children looked forward to playing each summer. They were with the league from Tee ball up until they became teenagers. They were still interested in playing but did not at the time have a league for the older boys. I am happy that the league has grown and pray for continued success. Keep up the good work.

Some how it is always the lower paying workers that get layed off. I have heard of employees taking a cut in pay, just to continue to have an income, but the people that are in the five or six figure income never have taken a cut in pay nor have they even suggested that they are willing to take a cut to continue to help the people that put them in office. I wonder why? Maybe we need to rethink things when it come to election time. Maybe someone needs to ask that question when the politicians are out in the public testerlying about what they are willing to do. The question is, "if things get really bad, are you willing to take a cut in pay to help others?, and are you willing to put your answer in writing?
See what their answer will be. There needs to be some changes in Natchez.

You all did not say where the children were and if they were alright? If they were alright, were they punished for scaring their mother? Where are the details? You say this is the first time you have had to use the emergency system. Then give details of how well it worked.

He may as well stay in prison for the rest of his life, because the state will be taking care of him. Who is going to hire him for a job. In prison the state is taking care of him, now he maybe able to get unemployment, what is the difference. He will be able to get food stamps, medicad, and low income housing. The state is still taking care of him. Give him a year or two, he will be glad to go back to prison. Bills and the cost of living will kill you.

Natchez has a problem trying to get businesses in there as it is. With all the made-up titles they have in the tax office, they should at least pretend that they are doing their jobs. Which is to contact the Stine's Brothers of this matter. Especially since they live out of town, and have not had a problem with them paying their taxes before. Stines take your business across the river. The Mayor over there will treat you right. That town has not been ran properly since Butch Brown was in office. He may have been a little crooked, but he knew how to get jobs in that town. Natchez businesses is falling in the river just like the Bluff.

I think that this is a great beginning. I just wish I was there to be a part of it all. If I know Alvin Shelby, it is going to be off the chain. I pray that this is a great sucess for all involve. God is going to Bless this union to be continued for years to come.
