So this means you can drive a stolen car as long as you aren't the one who stole it? Wow. I'm gonna save money on my next vehicle. Anyone know any good car thieves?

Only took eight days to get this story in the paper. Way to go ND. That's what I call good investigative reporting. Did my mentioning this theft on another board yesterday prompt you to actually run the story?

I am sure some people won't like this but here goes. I bet it would be safe to say that at least half of the readers of the Natchez Democrat do not live in the city limits of Natchez. I am one of these people. I could care less about alderman and mayor elections. How about some actual news from the "news"paper. I still haven't seen an article about Adam's County Water having a truck and trailer stolen last Thursday night. Taxpayers pay for that equipment so why are we not informed when it is stolen. Seems like sometimes stories are done on things that happen to prominent downtown people while actual news is just left out without so much as an acknowledgement.
Sorry if it sounds like I am whining, but I just want some REAL NEWS.

Most people would be amazed at who does illegal drugs. I bet that everyone on this post knows several people who do drugs of one sort or another, you just don't know it. Trust me. I was a very bad drug user some years ago so I know how it works. I did things with people that no one would ever think were involved in such things. Business owners, politicians, cops, prominent people in the community; you name it. What people need to realize is that not all harmful drugs are of the illegal sort. Have you checked your medicine cabinet lately. Are all your prescriptions still there? I know more people who have ruined their lives on prescription medications than on anything else. Just realize that not all drugs are bought at crack houses and car washes.
