we deal with this every weekend that we're at the huntin' camp. we actually catch the 4' - 5' ones and put them back in the water.

now i understand that 5 feet is WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY smaller than 10 feet, but unless you are just looking for a fight, the gator is not goin' to come after you, UNLESS IT'S A FEMALE GUARDING HER NEST.

i have a serious problem with comments that are blunt and straight to the point being removed from the comments section.

this is a "COMMENTS" section and these are people's opinions, good or bad, censoring what others think and feel is NOT good for the community!

it's not right and it's not fair, ESPECIALLY, to DISABLE COMMENTS on articles that are very sensitive to the surrounding community and NOT let people post at all, THE NEWS (NOW-A-DAYS) IS NOT CENSORED, WHY SHOULD THE PEOPLE BE?

DAMN you city people and your kill everything ways, that gator was probably as old as most of you that had negative opinions and the ONLY reason he wasn't in water was most likely b/c he was in search of a new place to live.

YOU PEOPLE NEED TO KEEP YOUR "KILL EVERYTHING I'M AFRAID OF" ATTITUDES LOCKED UP IN YOUR HOUSES WHERE YOU STAY MOST OF THE TIME ANYWAY!

oh, 1 more thing...................i don't know where hyram got the crushed stone from, but they screwed him on the price, apparently he didn't negotiate. $12,000/450 = $26.67 per cu yd, with that much material he shoulda been able to negotiate to atleast $20 - $22 per yd with that close of a delivery. (i'm pretty sure i know where he got it)

H1N1 is the strain of flu "humans" get regardless. the news doesn't tell you that H1N1 is the very "flu" that has been around for prolly thousands of years.

the introduction of swine DNA and the introduction of avian DNA was produced in laboratories; these are man-made viruses.
