If Cliff is not so arrogant and vain, then why are so many people saying it? That is because people KNOW him. I have the same impression of him and have know him since grade school. But that is really beside the point. The point is who will make the best Sherriff for Adams county. The other candidates all have more qualifications and experience than Cliff. I am for Chuck Mayfield ALL THE WAY!

I've been to the new addition to downtown Natchez and was very pleased. Maybe I was there when they were having a good day. The food was good, I had the sea bass, very tasty! My waitress seemed competent and new the menu well, guess I got lucky with an experienced waitress. Please give this new place a chance. As every new business has to do, they have to work out the kinks. I thourougly enjoyed my meal, atmosphere, and service. Definately will return. Good luck to all!

I wish the Democrat would make people post their real names for the comment section, but somebody would probably get killed. I enjoy most of the comments until someone comes along and mouths off about gossip they have heard and take it as truth. I know nothing about this situation, but well said Reginald West. Chuck Mayfield would be the best sheriff. He has much more experience than Cliff and he is a good, honest man.

Lake St. Grocery is on the front side of the lake and very close to Tensas county line. This area was hit very hard by the storm, just as bad as Natchez. We have a home there and thankfully nothing hit our home. Only two huge pine trees across the driveway.
