This is one less worry everybody has to be concerned about. Look all you like, Eddie Walker will have the money in the right place and you don't have to check his pockets on the way out.

Let us all put this forum to its' best possible use here and pray that the outpouring of concern and sympathy for this stricken family be a source of comfort to them, little though it may be in the face of such tragedy.

We grieve with you, and everyone with children and a heart hurts with you. We lift you up to God in our prayers, and may your breaking hearts be comforted by the Love of the Lord.

Just Pray, Just Pray, for the family and friends, and for the poor man driving the truck as well. May God bless and comfort them. Oh my.

A little info. Probably the reason he was released to his parents is that there is no place to put him. Vidalia will keep one juvenile in its jail, and if that spot is filled the juvenile has to be taken to a state facility......when there is a "bed".

This is a severe problem. With all the prison space there are no juvenile facilities.

A healthy public lashing on the courthouse steps would no doubt benefit this gentleman greatly, but since that is not to be done, Lash him here!

Public exposure and comment on this type of behavior is not without theraputic value.

What a JERK!

Goodness, some of the posts here are scary! Deliberate? veered into the car? No one saw..?

"Witnesses said the impact sent Davis flying through the air before landing harshly against the concrete road"

"Lakeisha Robinson, a witness and family friend, said a female was behind the wheel. Two males who were sitting on the hood of the car obstructed the driver’s view"

"a male witness attempted to flag down the car before it sped off."

Of course children may veer into a car's path. That is why you must drive very carefully around children!

Of course if you have two men sitting on the hood of a car you are driving there is a lot you won't see.

But no "must have, maybe, or shoulda", the driver knew she hit a kid on a bicycle and then sped off, and the two on the hood knew as well. They get the Great Human Being Awards for today.

Why doesn't the Hysterical Society demand that the two gambling boats offer a "Riverboat Gambler" motif instead of "Las Vegas Tacky"?

If there is ONE thing clashing with the rest of Natchez this is it, and it has single handedly eliminated the distinctiveness that used to be provided Natchez by Natchez Under-the-Hill.

That term, "Natchez Under-the-Hill", brings back some memories, doesn't it? That's all that's left, memories.

Guess it is easier to pick on a tamale house that is not greasing blue blooded pockets.

When the water started receeding from the fields in 73, the crawfish in the fields could be picked up several at a time because they were fighting over the holes and all clamped together. Picking up one picked up several in a chain to swing over into the washtub. I filled up the back of a truck with them too, it was the best it ever was. All big heavy red ones and dark black ones.

1973 really ruined me for life on crawfish because they have never been as good since.
