Krogers I think that was one of them. The main one moved to Hattiesburg. I remember in the 60s he was # 160 on the list to get into the National Guard. He got his draft notice and was moved to number 1 and got in the guard.
In my comment above "entertaining the letters" should have been entertaining the ladies. Like grungebob said there was an excellent letter about Mr. Rayne that wasn't published.
reb there are letters every week from out of state folks. Someone is feeding you a line.

I think it would have been much better to have put Duncan McFarlane's letter about Mr. Rayne and the Habitat for Humanity than a letter from a Dossett telling how his father would have liked to be entertaining the letters. JMHO

Very good Marc. I agree completely. It looks like the world is going the way of Lot's world, or Nero's. The use of these words, the heathenistic, fornicatingly insinuative dancing by certain bands, and the fact that having sex by teens today is like holding hands when I was young, will certainly bring this country down like Rome and Sodom and Gommorah and I really do not see anything changing. It is sad that people like daBosslady think that this is alright.
