well....this is sad news indeed. i only found about arlene's passing monday afternoon which leaves me no time to make the trip to the area. i should be there to pay my respects and i am sadden that i cannot.
i know we butted heads a million times but she earned my respect and a place in my heart for her tireless devotion to my dad especially in the last years of his life.
i'm the last one left from the old household and that's scary. when you get to heaven you give dad a hug for me and tell him i said "he was right it's just like he said it would be".

hey hutto hope on your bike and pedal to deer park,la and tell those people how you feel. your tax dollars are spent there rebuilding their "homes" yearly and has been for the last 20 yrs. or so.
new orleans is home to the largest port in the united states...its called being vital...however deer park is home to what...exactly. i said deer park but it applies to anyone living on old river or and of the yearly flooded areas in la. and ms. go preach to them.
