The Ministerial Alliance began the FP post Katrina, and had it taken away. Realisitically, the MA could not fund or run it. I hope CC does take it over, as do most ministers who have had anything to do with FP since its inception.

Pity the poor folks who work in or use the library. How is it that the elevator and now the AC have had such little care over the years?

I don't know if this was the same power outage as reported here, but I heard of a recent one at a local nursing home. For 4 hours the power was out, except for minimal lights in the halls. Even the nurse call buttons didn't work.
But the most destrurbing thing is that during that 4 hour period, no one patrolled the halls checking on the residents to see if they were ok. And no explanation was given about the lack of attention by the personnel in that nursing home during the outage.

I am sorry for the teacher in Ferriday, but our paper somehow misses the many verbal and other assaults on teachers here in Natchez. Wonder why?
Has any one looked into why 10 teachers were fired here, nearly all were white! And many others are changing school systems.

I had cable one in another town, it was just as bad as here! IF you find phoning them is a problem, try going in the office to get a real answer to a problem or even to a question. I have family elsewhere that use other cable companies, and they all seem more interested in signing you up than providing good service. At cable one, I don't think management cares as long as they get their pay check.
