"UNPREDICTABLE1", Please don't get defensive. Not only have I attended merchant meetings, I have hosted them. Noone is down on Meese. Natchez1 was simply stating that there is no way Meese can do a good job without meeting the merchants and finding out what's on their mind. "he may need to hit the streets more and be more visible"...It's not "may".. it's he "MUST".

"CRACALAKIN", have you ever been downtown? There's no way you wouldn't know about First Fridays and Art & Soul. For Art & Soul 2 blocks are closed off for vendors! These events are in the newspaper, radio, and Bluffs & Bayous. We'd love for you to visit us.

The death toll will rise dramatically if women believe this nonsense. As a man, if my PSA shows prostate problems, am I to wait & see what happens in the following years? This is ludicrous. I truly pray that women won't buy into this crap. It's a death sentence. And no self examination???? These people are just trying to kill off women it looks like.
On Do you agree with the news this week that women should wait until age 50 to get a mammogram?

"unpredictable 1", "natchez1" made very valid points. It seems to me if Meese has been if your store NUMEROUS times, he certainly has had time to visit "Natchez 1's" store....
And why do you think "natchez1" is a gal?
Buddy buddy groups? Is that why you think we all loved Carrie? She was on the streets daily. Doing whatever she could to help the merchants. Even those that aren't members of NDDA.

So, because you and 15% of the people in the U.S. don't or didn't have health care, the other 85% of us are suppose to give up our health plans? You should step up to the plate and do what we do. DO WITHOUT a few things in order to pay for health care. That means seeing the Dr. of my choice. And, not waiting for 3 to 6 months to see him or to receive medical attention. That's what will happen with a health care system run by our government. I would venture to say the majority of those without health care right now drive big fine cars, wear lots of jewelry, have "gold grills" in their mouth but expect ME to pay for them when they get sick. I WON'T DO IT!!! End of discussion.

Absolutely! If the Chamber of Commerce, NDDA, EDA, and the Tourism council would come under one branch, I think a lot more could be accomplished. At this time, there is not even an event calendar. That means that we overlap in functions on the same weekend. That should not happen. We could have something to do every weekend in Natchez if one entity was handling things.
On Should Natchez merge some of its organizations that work to promote the town and its businesses?
