I say DRILL NOW!!!! What are we waiting for, China to drain us dry? Why are we so worried about the wildlife, when WE the people (Americans) are suffering. Hello...................we can't even afford to pay our bills and buy groceries because all of this, much less go on a vacation. Who can afford extra gas? This is so rediculous, such a No-Brainer! To be such a GREAT nation, it's a shame we don't have sense enough to use the resources given to us by God to take care of our own. God has Blessed the USA and we need to give Him "Thanks" and go back to taking care of our home-folk first, then what's left send off to other countries. Like it was written before, the USA won't be here during the "Last Days", so why are we saving it????

My Mother worked with his Father in the five county circut court for over 30 years. They are a wonderful and highly respected family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

WOW! What an amzaing story. "Thanks" for sharing that with us. We need to all put this Mother and these babies on our Church Prayer List. I'm so happy it had a happy ending. Also ~ "Congratulaitons" to all the Dr.s, Nurses and staff who were involved in this miraculous event BUT, the biggest "Thank You" goes to God ~ How good He is!!!!

As for the Insurance Issue, that shouldn't even be part of this story. It isn't any of our business and how in the world could you even think of $$$ when we're talking about 3 precious lives. God have mercy on whoever you are with such a shallow heart & mind.............

My heart still goes out to the families of the kids who were involved. No matter how it happened, we still have 2 deceased young men and they are someone's son. I hope and pray our other young people will heed to this warning and refrain from racing, especially if they've been out partying. I know I've lived here all my life and we used to race too, but now that I'm older and have children and grand-children I see how irresponsible and dangerous it is. We, as the adults of this area need to plead with our Youth and communicate the dangers of racing, drinking, late/early hours of the night. It breaks my heart we have had so many fatalities lately. I hope-n-pray this will wake some of them up.
I feel the VPD & State Troopers are doing an excellent job. This wasn't your every day minor accident and it takes time to put together all the pieces. As for the story changing, I'm sure it will continue to change as the witnesses come forth and they put this accident puzzle together. I'm sure those that fled are scared to come forward, but the quicker they do the better. I'm sure all names will leak out eventually. Until then........May God comfort these families who have lost one their loved ones.

I'm so happy Truniya will be okay. It sounds like the driver was probably young. I can't even imagine hitting a little child and not stopping. My fault or not ~ she had to have been terrified, so how could someone just leave her in the street like that? That's just awful! They need to be found and prosecuted for their unhumane actions. If it had been an animal done that way the Humane Society group would be on them hot-n-heavy, so I say "You play, you pay"! Hopefully others will read this article and see how stupid and dangerous it is to play behind the wheel of a car - especially with people on the hood distracting the driver and obstructing their view, all 3 should be in trouble. "Thank you Lord for protecting this precious little girl". I pray she will recover quickly.

P.S. To the parents of small children riding bikes............You need to be watching your small children on the streets. They are our responsibility as parents to protect. This very thing happened to my husband & I on Mother's Day and thank goodness my husband was paying attention as a little boy swirved out in front of us on a bike and continued to cross the street, never looking, never stopping. Where are the parents?

I'm glad you are both okay. God's hand of protection was over you. I pray you recognize that and give Him the praise and honor He deserves. We all have a purpose, we just have to figure out what it is and how we can be used to glorify our Lord ~ If not, we're a waste of time. It is a beautiful day and I'm thankful to be here. Y'all have a GREAT day!!!!
