Slow news day, huh? Anyway, I'm glad he's enjoying his new bike. He might want to never let it out of his sight during the day and lock it up at night if he wants to keep enjoying it since all of Natchez knows about his fancy new bike now.

I hope he gets well soon. It scares me to death when I see people riding these things on the roads and being all reckless, and especially when I see little kids on them with or without an adult.

Hmmm...guess this is why it was closed when I went to visit last week. There was no sign up or anything, they were just closed during the posted open hours. Maybe renovations will be done by my next visit to Natchez.

Maybe those parents who actually are concerned with their kids behavior and education but can't afford private school care if the public schools ever open again.....

Not only do I like knowing where my produce comes from, the local stuff is usually better quality anyway, plus it helps out the local farmers.

First of all, the man's name is Barack Hussein Obama, or just Barack Obama if you prefer. At this point I don't think anyone will ever be "ready" to be president but someone has to do it and considering the choices I think he's the right one. In all fairness, anybody who steps into the mess we're in right now has their work cut out for them so he can't do much worse, now can he? As far as being qualified, we've had 8 years of Bush and he's still not qualified.
On Obama on defensive about Iraq as he targets Republican strongholds during U.S. holiday

I usually do more reading than commenting on here, but your comment sounds really, really ignorant and I just had to say something. To the credit of the AKA's, maybe they've actually learned it's better to choose members based on who they are as a person and what they can bring to the organization and NOT just their physical appearance. Basically, by thinking AKA's should only be "pretty", slim, fair-skinned women, you are perpetuating the same stereotype that has caused people to think these women are nothing but a bunch of snobs. So homeboy, no "DISrespect", rethink before you make such ignorant statements in the future.

I have no idea how the situation there unfolded, but I would have done my best to get my girls through that window before myself.

Well he wanted a fight and look where it got him. Serves him right.

Thank goodness that situation didn't turn out to be as bad as it could have been!
