Those of you that have 3-4 days of spare time should read HR 3200, "the Healthcare Bill" its on the net. Don't be embarrassed if you haven't, your representatives haven't either.
If passed as is, the Mr. Simonton's of this country may not like waiting six months for a doctors appointment only to be told "you cannot have this operation due to your age. this money is set aside for younger people with more productive years ahead". this decision will be made by "the government committee".
One of O'Bama's famous moronic statements (there are many) was "older people are going to have to learn to live with pain, they can't expect the government to pay for everything".
BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR GENE!!!!!!

If Mr. Simonton had read only part of the Pelosi/O'Bama Health Reform and the cost thereof, there is no way he would be in favor of it and still call himself a responsible American looking out for the best interest of his children/grand children, who will pay the price.

Supe Lazarus campaigned on swimming pools in all the black neighborhoods. A hollow promise ignorant of the costs, of course, so now he's passing the buck to the "voters" to get that monkey off his back, along with the other POLITICIANS who always have a way out.
Heck no on the 5.4 million recreation complex, BECAUSE after its built THEY hire more friends & family to run it at absurd salaries. This is called " LEGAL VOTE BUYING".

You want to take on a "REAL HEALTH ISSUE" much larger than smoking?
If health is really your primary concern get your crusaders onto "OBESITY". Go picket the fast fooders, raise their taxes.

The Tea Party's are about taxes, and the lack of elected officials, local, state, & federal, taking heed of their constituents concerns about it.
At the top of this ladder our naieve, half black president, and his tax evading appointee's, is attempting to bury us with a tax burden our grand children and they're children can never repay likely leaving this country belonging to China, our principle debt holder.
While it was o.k. for the media at large and the famous to hammer President Bush on all issues for eight years, it is taboo to criticize O'Bama about anything.
Get a grip Singleton, the race card ain't working like it used to, and try some other news media than NBC.

I honestly believed, now that King O'Bama is throned, some of this black bloviting would cease. I should have realized, like children, they've gotten their way for so long doing it, it'll never cease.
Mathis obviously is perfect and above reprimand. Gray calling Alderman Fortenberry, (one of the sharpest knives in the block), "stupid" so to speak, displays his own IQ. Isn't Gray the nut who demanded "more respect" awhile back? Doesn't appear he's earned it YET! Maturity either for that matter.

Maybe O'Bama will allow his "Green Czar" Van Jones, self proclaimed "radical & communist" to speak briefly to the kids and he can share his opinion( Jones) that 9/11 was planned by the Bush Administration.
