Just wondering if the old theaters are still standing. Are the Ritz and Baker Grande still there?

Residents of Vidalia and Natchez might want to go online and see how many sex offenders are in your zip code. I just checked it for Vidalia and there are 7 sex offenders registered. The offender in this article is listed! It is important to know who is living in your neighborhoods.

This was not a "mistake" as some of you have stated.A mistake is an error. These students went to Trinity with a plan to do damage, otherwise they wouldn't have been equipped with paint. When they broke the windows and wrote obscenities, it wasn't an accidental mistake, it was deliberate. They should pay for the cost of repairing the damage, and do some clean up for Trinity.
Many of the youth of today do rash things without thinking of the consequences. It is a sad result of our society today.Last week here in Arizona, where I live, a teenager stabbed a student to death right in the school parking garage in front of other students and adults. He didn't even know his victim.
If this incident at Trinity is just shrugged off as a mistake, these students might go on to commit more serious crimes.I just hope they are repentive and truly sorry to have caused this damage and for the embarrassment to their parents.

She rescued the bird from a dog. If she hadn't rescued it, the bird would be dead. Anyone who would report this girl and try to get her in trouble is probably so mean they would slap their own granny!

She offered to pay for my surgery if I needed it.She also assisted Dr. Kisner when he operated on my baby. When the surgery was over and she came out of the operating room, I said,"Oh! Dr. Veller, I din't know you were going to assist in the surgery!" She answered, "Well, I wanted to be there when one of my babies had surgery!" I never received a bill from her for this surgery. She was a precious saint.

May the Lord give comfort to this family.

mslugirl, I agree that it is not fair to expect some of the parents to supply for those who won't buy their children supplies. Parents should bring this up at the PTA and demand that the supply list be evaluated as to cost and necessity. The number of pencils mentioned in a previous post is outrageous! Most of the items are not needed, but if they are needed perhaps they should be provided as part of the curriculum by the school.
Enkikur's post explains mismanagement of funds, and I think he has an excellent point.
