It is a shame that the Natchez Democrat Editorial Board does not know that the lawsuit was filed only because the election had not been precleared by the United States Justice Department. Check your facts! Furthermore, you all are foolish to think that the 17 whites that threw out over 500 ballots of mostly black voters is not racist...think again. Without examining A SINGLE BALLOT. We did not make this about race the 17 whites did...

Lovelylday: You are absolutely correct, this has been a set up all along. A certain group of people started phone banks and writing letters to federal and state authorities about black county officials and their supporters before the election. They wanted the authorites to think that so many illegal things were happening in the county.
Spanky: Since the committee wanted to only count the machine totals...this should explain one thing...and that is ...if they were done in the secrecy of the Circuit Clerk then he should have benefited and not his opponent. How could bear45 have any positive influence on the election when it was stated earlier that he/she lives in Adams County or did he/she mean hwy 24 west.

To bad Ms. HottChocolate and Ms Southernlady or shall I say Ms E and J. At least the sheriff ain't no abortionist or bad check writer. You never see Jackson, Hollins or Allen checks hanging up beside the wall in the local restaurants, grocery store, etc. Get on the band wagon, wake up and smell the coffe. We don't want a Federal impersonator for sheriff. We don't want a criminal for circuit clerk because to much money comes through that office. And we definitely don't want an arsonist for supervisor he just might burn the whole town down.

Southernlady: So what! It seems as if you are jealous. $55,000 is not a lot of money in 2007. I guess you have not been anywhere other than Woodville. Sometimes, cars come with jobs. Just because an employee uses a car this is not corruption. I do not hear no other county employees complaining. If you had same opportunity, you would take it also. The losing candidates could never restore R-E-S-P-E-C-T to this county because they all terrible pasts.
