My wife and I went to school with Kathy and got to see her a couple months ago at a reunion. She still wore the same great smile on her face that she always had, even with all that she was going through.

Kathy was a wonderful, friendly person.

We all miss you LuckTwin.

Not everyone who attends a bar is a drunken idiot. And no person, drunk or sober, deserves to have their jaw broken into powder. Does anyone really think the "law" is going to say they used excessive force? Of course not. If these "officers" had more education, they would not be looking for fights with drunks. As someone posted earlier, they hang out there and wait for someone to look at them wrong so they can use whatever force they see fit.
Most of the Natchez PD are guys who got picked on in High School. They can't fight so they handcuff some drunk and kick his face in.
Sad. Very sad.

This is a web-posting. I HOPE it didn't take up actual print space!?!? Nobody wants to hear this "reporter's" thoughts on professional sports. Local paper-stick to local sports.

I attended Centreville Academy for three years as a child. Bill Hurst coached me in the Academy All Star game almost 20 years ago, and anyone who has ever played football for him- be it for a week or a year- knows the type of coach he is... great.

Other schools can only hope for a coach and teacher that takes as much personal time with the students as Coach Hurst does.

Best of luck to the Tigers this year.

mswilkinsoncounty: I will not get into a battle of wits with you, seeing as how you appear to be unarmed. I doubt very seriously that the outcome of these hearings will sway your mind. In a contested election, it is rare that the incumbants are NOT the ones found tampering with the results. The challengers are not in a position to do so. That is all I have to say on the matter. Also, the statement that woodvillelegal made about mswilkinsoncounty & reelectclub making this a black and white matter: both Mr. Stewart and Mr. Jackson are afroamerican. So how can it be racial? Why would anyone want to make it racial? It's not about color. It's about right and wrong. Period.

mswilkinscounty: FYI: Jessie Stewart IS a Federal Marshall. He is employed as a marshall at the Federal Courthouse in Natchez. I would suggest you check your resources before placing your foot in your mouth on a message board.
