I just like the fact that the shelter has those kennels to drop the strays off in. So many dogs just roam around waiting to get hit by a car.

Every budget can be cut. Where does all the money from the tax revenue of the casino go? While I dont live there all the time, I know a % of all the revenue made at the casino goes back to the city and sate. Now with 2 casinos, there should be TONS of money to pay for so many "cut" items. And, every city has "waste" in their budgets, just like many businesses. They can cut a lot and not hurt the citizens. Good luck!

Not only more jobs are but better paying ones too. Jobs that let people that have to work in north or south Mississippi to make it.
