If I am not mistaken Louisiana already has such a law. Also, I believe it is exended to your vehicle. In other words, if someone is trying to carjack you, you have the right to shoot them.

It is so very nice to go into a restaurant in Louisiana and smell food instead of cigarette smoke. One hospital here in Lafayette has gone to a smoke free campus, including the parking lot. That is where I go when I have to go to the hospital.

It was announced on our nightly news (KATC) here in Lafayette that seven of the swabs that were sent to the CDC were tested positive for the swine flu. These were kids at Cathelic Carmel school that went to Mexico over spring break. I think two others were deemed to be swine flu that were in two different parishes down here.

There are some good people that live in that area. True, there are a lot of druggies. When you have a sheriff, whose son is reported to be one of the biggest dealers in the parish.... can you expect anything different?
