Anybody that can do that to an animal is not fit to be around. People mean to animals are mean to people.

People like this one wouldn't work if a good paying job was handed to him on a silver platter. He'd rather steal than work.

The parent that bought supplies and uniforms for a school that her child or children was not supposed to be attending in the first place does not deserve any sympathy. They knew they were doing wrong. If they cannot afford private education, then home school or move into the Vidalia school district. It is that simple.

It looks to me like one of the officers should have stayed with the two individuals while one went to the house. I don't know Delayne Bush but I do know Tabo and he definitely would not have thought to do that.

That depends on who you talk to Babbiegurl1 as to whether it is worse. Frankly, I think Glen is doing a magnificant job with what he had to start of with.

This is to srob. I live in the Lafayette, La. area. We have had several major accidents in the last few years with as many as four people killed by a drunk driver. Street racing is suspected in the wreck that the four perished. And there are plenty of things in this area for kids to do. So, lack of anything to do is not a major cause of drinking and driving drunk. It doesn't make any difference where you move, this is a problem that you will have to face. As to the solution, stiffer penalties for driving drunk, better law enforcement to stop people from driving drunk, people being responsible for their own actions.... in other words taking it upon themselves not to drive drunk are just a few examples of ways to curb this problem. Parents need to set better examples for their children. If their kids see the parents drinking and driving, it is likely the kids will do the same. I am not saying this is true in all cases, just that it will be most likely. It is very sad that this had to happen and my prayers are with the families involved.

It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where to look for him at. He was from there and was worried about his girlfriend. I don't see anything in the above article where CPSO had anything to do with his capture. CPSO is not the U.S. Marshall.

That is great news for Ferriday, but if I lived there I would not drink the water with or without a boil notice.

If these parishes would not take out-of-parish or out-of-state prisoners there might would be room in the jails for these offenders. Why not build a tent city jail like Arizona did? If our troops in Iraq can live in tents, why can't the criminals?
